Re: I couldn't do it
Hey all, Many wise words in this topic; I had never been on a motorbike, till I bought my PCX age 42 (now on my second one). I do intend to get a "real" motorbike, thinking MT07 or Duke 790. Would really like a petrol bike before everything goes electric but, I know in my heart I will come...

Re: I'm usually averaging around 88mpg. Is this normal?
Hi rom,
As said above imperial gallon (UK) is 8 pints US gallon is 6pints, divide yours by 3 then multiply by 4 you'll see you're getting over 120mpg (using your 92 figure)

Re: I never lend my scooter to anyone
Borrow my bike? sure, I'll hold onto your £3000 until you hand it back, simple. I'd like to think I would help anyone with anything (legal), if they would do the same for me, that seems fair. When I first got my PCX I let my brother in law have a shot, he told me "I've ridden bikes for years an...

Re: Pcx 125 abs
Hi, 2015 PCX 125 fastest I saw on speedo was 67 2018 PCX 125 (ABS) fastest on speedo 73 (no GPS verification of either top speed so both lower in reality) it has gone from 11bhp to 12bhp Can't recomend a PCX for motorways, you will rarely reach 70 and usually only downhill, it is very unpleasant to ...

Re: Is it normal for the left brake lever to need more press
what do you mean by "flushed"? (sorry for my ignorance) the right brake is operated hydraulically so you could renew the fluid (flush?) but the left brake is literally just a cable pulling on a lever. My guess is that your brake shoes are a little worn, try the adjuster as suggested but on...

Re: Had anyone swapped a pre 18 125 for new one? I need a co
Hell yeah Gn2, 200 pcx sounds like a dream to me. 8) Marval, I actually feel a bit more cramped on the newer bike but perhaps I was just more familiar/relaxed on my 2015 I think they gained some storage by changing the seat contour. (when I bought it I could fit a large Agrius Rage helmet under the ...

Re: Had anyone swapped a pre 18 125 for new one? I need a co
Hi, I had a 2015 and have now had a 2018 (2019 model) for a month or so. 2015 felt more nimble/easier to weave through traffic and faster from a standing start 2018 feels more powerfull when you get up around 50mph but doesn't feel as quick off the line these changes are miniscule and may be totally...

Re: 2019 Honda PCX150 review/specs
Dunno about gear ratios,
my 2019 model 125 has a top speed of 73mph/117 kph (so far) and my 2015 only ever managed 67mph/107 kph.
I do know the power has increased from 11hp to 12hp, can't speak to the 150 but I imagine there has been a comparable power increase

Re: 2018 model musings
yeah, that buzz is a little disconcerting at first, but other than that no issues so far. Done about 750 miles and have already changed the oil, I don't think I'll be paying Honda to do any servicing as I'd rather do it myself. 1. It's cheaper, I am looking at 6000+ miles a year the service interval...

Re: 2018 model spark plug recommendation
I definitely recommend a spark plug, unless you like pushing your bike. I was taken to an old school biker garage owned by a member of the "Blue Angels" by an old school biker friend and after hanging around all day I felt compelled to buy something, I bought a spark plug :( They were very...

Re: PCX 125 collected today
BTW check your oil, I like to dump the black stuff after the first 100 miles.
Gets rid of any new parts detritus as they bed in.
I went to do this and it seemed horribly overfilled straight off the production line.
Very puzzling

Lol, angry ladybird.
I think, standing to the side near the front it looks more like a preying mantis but I may be blinded by my love of the damn thing.
108 still seems low. Reset your trip meter and take it for a ride through city streets I promise you will be impressed.

Re: PCX 125 collected today
Hi cnikonpete, you can change the readout to miles per gallon (instructions in hanbook), can't wait to see pics. Just out the box I was getting an impressive 140+miles to the gallon but that is around city streets where the PCX is really at home, motorway or dual carriageway and you fuel consumption...

Re: Repairs Complete
I hear you(you), could make enough money to buy two bikes; or maybe start my plan for world domination! To be honest my 2015 will always be the first motorbike I bought (two wheels and an engine therefor a motorbike) and I kinda want to keep it. I intend to rebuild coz I'm sure it was faster from a ...

Re: Repairs Complete
You are both right of course, repairs for my 2015 start with £400 for a front light, £250 for replacement panels, various hundreds of pounds for yoke, bearings, spindle, new caliper, new front wheel..... I can't afford that s**t. I can afford to buy a brand new bike (£20 per week) so I did that. Can'...

Re: Where can I get a replacement panel for my scooter?
or get out the wet and dry and have a bash at spray painting?
it's a lower panel so doesn't catch the light as much as higher up panels, if you don't fancy that then a replacement would be about £40 (I think $50); your shout

Hey qcpcx, welcome to the forum and congrats on your purchase! You will def not regret it. In answer to your question; I believe sharing a complete manual is beyond what could argued as "fair usage" and as such if the forum did so they (or maddiedog) may be liable to litigation. Fear not, ...
