So, I've seen a lot of things, but I've never had a bucket truck throw a cooler at me before. that's new.

A bee, Lancaster PA unrest, and a close call
DISCLAIMER: Video includes some commentary on the recent events in Lancaster PA, but is not intended to be political in any way.
Halfway through the video, a bee flies into my helmet...which was terrifying.
Almost at the end I get to do a horn test.

Re: Sturgis?? Really??
Disclaimer: as a COPD and asthma sufferer I am at risk for any respiratory affliction, and take precautions as necessary. That said, the numbers for COVID-19 just don't add up. We've seen a spike in cases (mostly because of testing), but no spike in the mortality rate. We've also seen mismanagement ...

Fishing a small creek, missed getting a parking ticket
My helmet cam battery was dead, so I had to use my iphone for recording. Not a motovlog, but includes some footage of the scooter. I went fishing at a local stream. It wasn't anything fancy, but creek fishing is often just for fun. Realized when I was on my way out that I'd missed seeing the no park...

US Motorcycle shortage
This seemed like a "general" topic, so I'll put it here. I did a little journalistic work of sorts. If you want a brand new PCX in the US right now, you will be hard pressed to find one. There are no new bikes or scooters coming in. The YouTube video explores this a bit, and I get to do a ...

Ride through the mountains of PA -Dubois to Lancaster
This video is from May 26th. There’s some talking in the first couple minutes and the last minute or so, but it’s mostly riding set to music. There is a comment on the YouTube site with time stamps of things I found interesting.

A ride in at Ephrata, A scare with a horse, creepy dolls,
Went to the August Ephrata PA First Sunday Ride in today. Saw some scary dolls...just watch...terrifying...
I also got to enjoy the rare pleasure that it is to share the road with plain Mennonites, and saw lots of doggos out for walks.

Re: Cupholder for handlebar
honkerman, do you know what material the stock seat is made of? I asked at Cheeky Seats but all they said was they think theirs is better, and it might be. I just wanted to know if the stock seat was somekind of vinyl, a faux leather, or even actual leather. I'd say "Pleather." I don't th...

Re: Cupholder for handlebar
I got a great holder for my cell phone, from recommendation on this board. RAM Mounts. I was thinking of getting a cup holder that can mount to the handlebar. Want something good quality, that will hold secure on the handlebar as well as securely hold the cup, maybe with some mechanism that adjusts...

$90 armored Jacket from Amazon...any good?
So I got a Viking Cycle Warlock armored Jacket at the end of May. I've held off on reviewing it until I had some time with it. here's the verdict.

It would be nice, but yeah, I looked at the shocks with Kevin, the sales manager at Lancaster Honda, prior to my ride and there is no preload adjustment.Jge64 wrote:Non Adjust Showa shocks? Honda fail......not even pre-load?

Re: Got to ride the ADV150
Hi Paul :) No worries, easy to move. Now over on "Other Bikes." There are other related threads to this Newbie there too. I almost just posted it here, but since it is so similar to the PCX, I wasn't sure Paul you're the first to test ride an ADV150 in the USA and report on one 8) I've be...

Re: Got to ride the ADV150
I know it was a short test ride but did you notice any difference in the suspension/shocks compared to the PCX? It is one of the points that would make me want one. That and the ABS. From what I could tell the scooter feels planted. Due to the limited allowed length of my ride and the newness of th...

Indeed, but I have a good relationship with the sales manager and he lets me review bikes on occasion so long as I give them a plug.fish wrote:Rare USA dealer giving test rides.

Got to ride the ADV150
I know this is the PCX forum, but there isn't one here for the Honda ADV150, so I figured, this is the best place I can think of to post since it's still a new scooter, I'll just put the post here. Hope that's ok. Anyway, they just got three in yesterday, sold one already, and I got to ride one of t...
