Re: 2018 honda pcx 150 service manual
Service manual is a paid item. You can’t just download it, not legally at least. Shell out the money like the rest of us and pay for your own copy. Trust me, it’s worth it.

Re: Rode from Lancaster to Massachusetts
The morning was easier. It got flippin’ Cold Friday night after the sun went down.the traffic wasn’t bad on most of the route anyway simply due to the fact that it was mostly secondaries.easyrider wrote:All considered traffic , roads etc which leg of your trip was easier before Monticello or after Monticello?

It sounds better with headphones. Unfortunately, I can’t afford a better setup right now, so I use what I have.Inoplanetyanin wrote:Seems like a nice ride. Your audio quality is too low to hear what you are saying.

Rode from Lancaster to Massachusetts
I have a three part video series going up on YouTube. Part one was posted last night. Went from Lancaster PA to The Berkshires in Massachusetts over Memorial Day weekend. When everything is right with the PCX, it’s great for a long distance (if rural) ride across the countryside.

Re: PCX 150 top speed?
That feeling at 63-64 is the scooter hitting the limiter. Mine hit the limiter at the same speed until I Swapped out the variator and roller weights. Now it hits the limiter at 75. That's 15mph faster than the scooter was intended to be ridden by Honda. Ride safer - save your $, buy a bigger bike. ...

Re: Bike Lift for ease of maintenance
MikeP, that is very cool. I like that a lot. A suggestion, for securing the bike and to avoid any unfortunate mishaps would be to install some eyes or hooks and use tie downs to secure the scooter in place.

Re: What is this screw sticking out from speed sensor protec
Paul, take look closer. Just above the 2 hex bolts there's a black screw popping out at us. That is Not Normal and needs attention. I would have that removed as soon as you're able. Funny how that got lodged in that space...weird. Is there any movement At All? Will it Slide sideways either way? Per...

I don’t think it’s anything more than a fastener. I do not have my shop manual with me at present, but for the services you were talking about, you should not need to touch it. I know I never have

Re: New member, with a question
The PCX holds 50+ speeds like a champ. Really surprising as my previous 150 was most comfortable at 40-45. As others have mentioned though, it’s better for secondaries than it is for highways. It’s so small and light it gets knocked around a lot by the wash from trucks. As for cruising with other bi...

Scooters are indeed a fantastic solution for the commuter. I will say I am jealous of you Californians and your legal filtering. Probably makes the commute that much quicker

In case anyone is interested, here is what the cbs caliper looks like disassembled.

Re: been quiet - had some brake issues
I figured out how to get at the CBS brake fluid reservoir. Interestingly, you don't need to remove any back panels to get at it, despite what the manual says. I'll have to make a vid of that, but didn't have a camera man to help when I was doing the caliper job. I broke all but one of the yellow/wh...

Re: been quiet - had some brake issues
Turns out the center piston on the front caliper was hanging up. If I snapped the left brake lever, it seemed to relieve the issue, so I just relied on the outer two pistons for the rest of the ride home...And had no back brakes for over 100 miles. I thought the caliber has only two pistons. What d...
