Re: remove rearwheel Scoopy i 125
The easy way is to visit the shop and ask them to come to your location. Had done this with a yamaha spoked min a few times. It only cost a couple of baht more. .. I Google YouTube but did not see an exact match for scoopy and rear tire removal.

Re: My PCX150-White/Red
Very reliable, the battery was 2.5 years old and with the heat and use here in Thailand I think it was just due to be replaced. I had noticed a different sound when starting as if it might be getting weaker over time. The different sound definitely disappeared when I replaced the original battery. T...

Re: My PCX150-White/Red
Hello fellow PCXers, been nearly a year since my last post and will likely be the last on this particular topic since I sold my PCX earlier today. In total I had the PCX150 for 2 years, 8 months and rode it just under 29,000 km. I had a great time on the PCX, it was very reliable and only failed me ...

Re: Yuminashi variator and belt
Also, the engine in the Yumi video revs over 10000rpm. I haven't checked how high mine revs. I met a guy in Bangkok whose old PCX did 140 kph. It was pulling over 11,000 RPM. Which sounds about right if one works out the gearing based on stock RPM limit and speed attained at that limit. But you'll ...

Re: Yuminashi variator and belt
Hi you made this statement in a different thread. Yuminashi is supposed to be the best product hands down Just wondering what your opinion is based on? Back-to-back test , experience of others? I'm sure it does something but what above others and why? Waspmike, Kind of a loaded question. Shouldn't ...

Re: Dynabead DIY tire balancing beads.
For me it was a waste of money. No detectable benefit was gained. I installed new tires at the same time and had hoped it would be the next best thing since sliced bread. I honestly don't think there's any difference from the stock tires/wheels and the 13" wheels/tires I had or the second set o...

Go for it!! It'll match the color of your PCX and maybe you can get the white PCX brigade to follow your lead.WhiteNoise wrote:That's one big fat arse trunk! Wait! I've got a hamper & it's White!
Can you imagine the loss of gas mileage with this clothes hamper on a PCX.

Re: Fitting 13" wheels and wide tires on PCX 150
I had the same style IRC tires when I first fitted the 13" wheels. I pretty sure the front tire size was not the 110/90-13 you are running. I went with Michelin Pure SC, 150/70-13 on the rear and 120/70-13 on the front. The rears requires YSS offset shocks, aftermarket air breather & just a...

Re: 3 and not out......
Just curious on the reason for swapping so often; great dealer trade in, wanted a change of color maybe high mileage rider? Also, can you tell a difference between the 3 bikes you have had; have they improved over time?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Rear shocks.
I have a little information on my YSS experience. I think they were an improvement for me, I encounter too many high speed-bumps in my village and elsewhere and the XXL shocks made a difference occasional rubs and scrapes. The link below is an explanation on what the part numbers represent. http://w...

Re: Today's Quick Pic
When the light turned green, he was off to the races. At the next light about 300 yards up the street, I caught him again. I sort of felt sorry for her, she was a little cramped and had very little to hold on to giving the drivers riding style. I hope she's ok. I don't see how/why girls agree to rid...

Re: What is the range on the PCX?
I had a similar thread on this issue before. I was able to get 306.1 km on a tank, I actually ran the tank dry and had to add fuel to make it to a gas station. I don't think I could do the same today, over time as I have approached nearly 20,000 km, my mileage has dropped off and maybe I need to hav...

Re: Added new Accessories (From Indonesia)
Looks nice. If the PCX were ever outfitted as a "Police" version, I would think it might look like this one..
The 47L box is not too small, but the 30L will look tiny and won't be nearly as useful.

Re: My PCX150-White/Red
In Thailand there's a saying, Same-Same but Different . I parked next to this PCX last week when I went to the doctor. I no longer have a complex about my GIVI topbox being too large. There were also a pair of 12-volt power outlets installed in a different location than I had seen before. The plug i...

Re: Saw a picture, found one and bought it straight away
Thankfully gn2's advice is completely free and flows freely too. He has been known to offer very, very good advice at times. As I have mentioned in other threads, scooters/motorbikes is a culture and way of life here in Thailand. It's not uncommon to encounter well over 100+ scooters at a major inte...

I would give him an "A" for the persistent failed effort, he didn't quite have enough ass to get it back in the center stand.

Re: warrantee issues
they dont bother to check the valves here in japan unless they are making noise or the bike isnt running right. it is a dealer revenue raising swindle in certain countries that put that in the maintenance schedule. it isnt in the maintenance schedule here in japan. Same here in Thailand. I have 19,...
