Re: Regularly grease the centre stand
I did the center stand maintenance while in confinement- it was'nt getting back in place. Had I waited longer it would have surely seized- don't wait for this to happen! The pin was a bitch to get out- it bent with the pliers trying to get some leverage. Thankfully i was able to hammer it back in sh...

Re: Storage Box acts like a parachute......
hi, Without the box on, it doesn't happen at all at any speed. but even with the box off, it still does it. This sounds like you are trolling. meaning any additions, even simply a tail rack, Will cause enough weight imbalance to lift up the front and cause the tank slap at any speed. Yeah right. Wh...

Re: Front suspension upgrade
Ah- bad luck! Hope you'll get new ones soon. FYI i still enjoy the ride very much. I did bottom once, but that was on a speed bump at 60 Kmph, I just hate those square ones appearing all of the sudden behind cars (Guy in front did not brake, range rover). Anyway happy to report it did not give me ki...

Re: What have you done to improve the PCX suspension?
Don't order shocks without knowing the springs rate- depending on your weight, if you ride solo or not. Three of us here grew tired of the stiffness of YSS (XL springs) and bought different springs for the rear shock. It's discussed in my previous link: https://www.hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&...

Re: Front suspension upgrade
Hi I had ordered on the 18/04. Shupped on the 21/04. Received on the 28 in Belgium. I think i got lucky before things started to get really bad in UK, don't know. Be patient, other stuff i have ordered recently is taking quite a bit of extra time...Canada is not exactly next door.

Re: Front suspension upgrade
I finished monuting everything and went out for a longer and faster trip on horrible B roads close to here. You will not regret it - My back and more notably my neck with full face helmet are saying thanks... Amazing it took me 4 years to find this balance. My bike is 30.000 kms now. Will never agai...

Re: Front suspension upgrade
Just a quick feedback- i went to put some petrol and check tires pressure ( first outing on bike since two months). As you can see i still have to mount dashboard and windshield. I also changed the front springs with harder ones from YSS. I was worried the 10-15 springs for the shocks might be too s...

Re: Front suspension upgrade
Hi Scott, Macdaddy I'm in the same ballpark of weight, around 90 Kg with my gear on. I went for 10-15 based on solely on Macdaddy's feedback since i have no way to know what my original ones are. My target was to have the springs around 50% softer as mine, but it's shooting in the dark really. As i ...

Re: Front suspension upgrade
I received some YSS springs to replace mine- i have been cursing The YSS from the beginning as being really too hard and only comfortable when two up which almost never happens for me. I was really surprised at how easy it is to remove the old spring - i thought it would be a nightmare without the r...

Hi,
I don't think you have many options because honda changed the calipers since the first esp version (smaller). if you have a non esp, your front caliper will probably not fit...

Re: Upgrade front brakes - best replacements
Mel, Fix an electric Block and tackle to the ceiling then? There's a pic of a pcx hanging from ceiling on the forum, that's how my (retired) mech does it. Installed EBC disc and sintered pads yesterday - i've only done the bedding in up to now following these instructions but now i see EBC have a di...
