Re: Anyone fitted the YSS fork upgrade kit?
Early Pcx's had a plastic cap on top (the "NAP ONG GIAM XOC" bit). I installed PD valves *twice* on two different versions of PCX and can't remember any threading inside. I might be wrong. Doing a google image search i did find this ad from expired ebay auction, they have threadedcaps on t...

Re: Anyone fitted the YSS fork upgrade kit?
^^Even more confusing: they do not even bore out the damping rod and just put in 95 cc of oil?? Manual call for 122 +/- 2.5ml of oil on ESP forks!

Re: Anyone fitted the YSS fork upgrade kit?
I also have the valves installed. I am really puzzled with their fork caps which are threaded, something i have never seen on any pcx, my V1 and V3 caps where just held by a small metal clip. is this something just found on the 150? I doubt it. See this video, definitely threaded: https://www.youtub...

Re: Where can I find a guide on rear shock replacement?
Which version? I have written a guide for the LED version in the french pcx forum. I did it the fast way- without removing the trunk, just lifting it, there is enough clearance to reach the shocks. You just have to be really careful not too loose the bolts in the battery compartment, keep the nuts o...

Re: swing arm
I installed helicoils on the threads holding the front caliper- they were just too fragile and strip too easely after just a couple of removals of the bolt. It's a straightfoward and permanent solution, Kits are not too expensive. Yes, You could simply tap the thread and install just a bit bigger in...

Thanks d.a.rous
I have the french service Manual and nowhere do they explain cable routing in the front while it's in the first pages here. Very handy.

Re: Tapping noise coming from bottom end of engine
Uhh. If cylinder and piston were marked have you checked the connecting rod? i had to replace all 3 when my pcx V1 got noisier and developed a shudder at idle. The mech showed me the marked piston and cylinder. I was given no explanation for this, apart that i had fallen once a year before and that ...

Sam,
What i miss here is Rpm reading and torque figures- that would be useful. Please ask to see them when you redo a dyno with exhausts

Guys, listen, Getting your bike stolen is one of the worst experiences you can have and the closest i've been to want to commit murder- and I'm a calm person. Re: Advice for anti theft
Dear Jge64, Do not let anyone fool you that insurance is the best protection and that's it. - it is compulsory, yes, but does not "protect" everything. After having my pcx stolen twice in two year's time i know a bit about it. You will loose quite a bit of money even with insurance. You wi...

Re: Honda Pcx front noise
I believe this is the metal collar that Mel is referring to (Stretch the photo to see the part better). You are looking at a 2016 PCX'S Handlebar, Cover and what lies beneath the cover. From http:/www.cheapcycleparts.com The arrow points to the collar (an odd shaped clamp, if you will) that the bra...
