Re: Ignition issue?
Thinking back, I had a similar issue with my Kymco. have you tried it with your spare key? See, what happened in my situation was, the one key had a burr on it and wouldn't turn in the lock. My spare worked fine. Tried the spare and same issue, if i go back to just before the area when it locks the...

Re: Ignition issue?
lithium is a grease. You should never use grease in a lock. Wd40 will help remove moisture and add a little lube but it will soon dry out and you will be back to where you started. Try either a graphite powder or spray. any oil base lubricant will attract and hold dust and dirt particles and eventu...

Re: Ignition issue?
Try some lock-ease or something similar. It could be as simple as some sticky tumblers. Would a lithium spray be OK as well? Problem started after i got the bike back from the dealer from someone hitting the bike just hard enough to knock it over and it was garage while they had it of course. Just ...

Ignition issue?
Hello, have a small issue that is random. Sometimes when trying to start the bike the key will turn fine to the on position where one can open the seat or the gas cap but not to do the final click to start the bike. it just doesn't want to move. Just lockes up but works freely from that position to ...

My 2015 us model with 800 miles has averaged around 10mpg higher on the on board computer than hand calculated

Re: New to the pcx world!
Ended up just putting stock variator back on until i get my face shipped to me and get some rollers to replace the sliders... Noticed the acceleration dropped so I figured I'd swap out the ncy for the time being and in 15 miles tops there was quite a bit of dust from the sliders not a lot but more t...

Re: Another key
(New member). Hi there, just bought a 2011 PCX125. I received just one key. Anyone know how much trouble it is to get another with the guillotine release feature embedded in the plastic? I assume it's only available through a dealer. I also need to secure a manual, will start looking online. Thanks...

Re: New to the pcx world!
Sorry about double post but can't find an edit button to add this in. Went out for a run, roughly 10 miles mostly messing in town, didn't have any issues with sticking, at least yet with the sliders. Acceleration is quite impressive for what this thing is but just feel like accelerating is bad with ...

Re: New to the pcx world!
Some people have said that the sliders don't work well in an NCY variator. Get stuck to the different coating it has in the ramps? And the belt won't make it up to top speed without the NCY face even though no one has been able to point out the difference. Thanks! I ended up coming across that afte...

Re: New to the pcx world!
Well put the sliders and pulls in... According to corsport the pulley face is on back order from Taiwan and no idea on an eta... So just running sliders n pulley on stock face. Can't test due to rain and work soon ![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif)

Re: New to the pcx world!
Going to receive my sliders today but the variator and face still haven't shipped, ordered them Friday from corsport USA and still says awaiting shipment... Slowest shipping to send I've experienced in quite awhile.

Re: New to the pcx world!
Same bike here. Added a nice exhaust and 13g dr pulley sliders....could not be happier with accelleration or top end in high 60’s...... Did most of the top speed increase come from the exhaust? Was reading your build thread and saw that the sliders alone really didn't change top speed but added qui...

Re: New to the pcx world!
I have a 2013 model and have 13 gm rollers. Top end stayed about the same but acceleration is quicker. From what I have read if you want any speed increase you should get an NCY variator. It still won't get you to 80 mph, but every little bit helps. :-) ( Maybe you might get to mid seventies though...

New to the pcx world!
Hello everyone! Monday I got myself a new 2015 white pcx 150. Fun little scooter already put on 200 miles almost! What I'm curious about is since the stock variator should not have any wear I was going to try it with 12g Dr pully weights. From what I saw those work pretty decent on an all stock bike...
