replacement mirror
Hi: A dumb mover tried to remove the left side mirror during a move and basically broke it (there are bolts rolling around inside the mirror body which seem non-retreivable) Other than ordering a replacement through Honda, does anyone know of a compatible mirror (or set) that they recommend as a dro...

Re: Humpty: De-humped stylishly.
Just so folks understand, my primary concern is rider safety. People buy the seat covers that I make, install them without mechanical attachment to their seats, and then ride around at high speed. I take that very seriously. Suzy Cheeky Seats I for one ride with this seat cover and am a very happy ...

Re: Anybody have a Honda Tall Winshield?
Thanks, I was able to pry them up fairly easily with a small flat blade screwdriver but it turned out there was no need to deal with this since the windshield... http://www.nationalcycle.com/media/wysiwyg/pdf/ispl/10-110801-000.pdf ...turned out to be an easy drop-in replacement. Glad you are OK.
The scooter is just "stuff" which can be replaced if and when you care to.

Re: Anybody have a Honda Tall Winshield?
Apparently, National Cycle has the incorrect pdf link to the install instructionshere: http://www.nationalcycle.com/n20052.html thanks JDB. I am about 5'10" so I imagine it will block up to my chin or so which will keep my chest protected, which is better than the smaller Givi. I don't care abo...

Re: Anybody have a Honda Tall Winshield?
You are referring to the N20052 ? Their instructions suggest that they mount on the handlebars: http://www.nationalcycle.com/media/wysiwyg/pdf/ispl/10-118568-000.pdf But I hope you are correct and that they mount to the stock fasteners! How do you like the N20052 ? Thanks. -stu Question: As for inst...

Re: Anybody have a Honda Tall Winshield?
I would call them N20052 I think you'll like it it looks they are almost next door Question: As for installing the N20052, on my 2013 PCX the stock handlebar clamp bolts are not directly accessible, are covered by what is perhaps a removable plug covering the bolts. Any idea how to get to the actua...

Re: Humpty: De-humped stylishly.
the empirical method would be to take a wee section of the cover on side, use the 303 on it, then if has proven its worthiness and lack of slippedness, use it on the rest.
So says the "Great Compromiser"

Re: Humpty: De-humped stylishly.
No, I have never used it, I just ordered the seat cover myself, am merely passing on the info from Suzy, the crafts person of the seat cover. Maybe the material she uses is not the same as the "std seats" you are familiar with? -stu Have you ever used it? Or are you just lumping this in wi...

Re: Humpty: De-humped stylishly.
Very nice, Use Aerospace 303 spray to care for it. Actually has sun block capabilities, great stuff for "marine vinyl". http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h307/gersly123/7353179d73bf19782cd6ade0e70b1a93.jpg Warning from Suzy about this: "...(use of this spray) is a very bad idea. You ...

It's held down by two nuts visible from the underside of the seat, just below the "hump". Those two holes you see in the underside of my pix were occupied by said nuts and studs. thank you, I see them. I intend to order one soon. The hump actually serves a bit of functionality for me sinc...
