Re: Forward attachment points for pillion cargo?
I've just seen this thread so I thought I'd add my view. In August I used the Eurotunnel to head over to Belgium for a few days. Most of the heave kit like locks and tools went under the seat (along with my helmet when parked up. I still had a little bit of room for other stuff if needed but the mai...

Re: Satnav question
Thanks for your replies: gn2 - I will have paper maps with me and will mull over them in a bar in the Grand Place in Mons no doubt. But having a Satnav just gives me a little bit of security (in my head anyway) when riding on the right. When I'm in the car I find it helps at roundabouts etc. I have ...

Re: Satnav question
Thanks for the replay Dergav. I did think of the tape solution as when the plastic tab broke on the lock I had to run around like this for a couple of weeks until I got it fixed under warranty. It would be okay for the short time I'll be riding from Calais to Mons and back (2 hours each way all on g...

Satnav question
Sorry if this has been asked but I used the search and can't find anything: I am off to Belgium in August and am going to borrow my 'other half's' TomTom Start 20 for getting about. In the UK I don't bother with Satnavs but feel more confident with one when driving abroad. My question is this- how d...

Re: 7500 Mile Maintenance
Recalls they have to do in any case. As far as repairs under their warranty, as long as it's a defect(s) in material or workmanship and not something you did, I see no reason for the dealer's refusal to honor the warranty. Who changes the oil should have no bearing on what plastic parts fail elsewh...

Re: My new Forza 125
I replaced my PCX with a Forza 300 to give me a bit more go on the bit of motorway riding I do. The 300 is a nice scooter but if it is really true that the new 125 can do 65-70 comfortably I may downsize again. The deciding factor may be by watching the reliability of the Forza 125 on these forums o...

Re: 7500 Mile Maintenance
Do maintenance yourself (not much in it really if you do not check the valves) and save lots of money. The chance of anything major going wrong will probably be cheaper to pay for repair (should that ever prove necessay) than 2 years of dealer servicing. Your absolutly right! I have done all of my ...

What are your positives/negatives about the Forza?
I've had my Forza for just under 3 months now and I'm loving it. My main plus with the scooter is it's easiness to ride and fuel-economy. It's a lovely machine to own. If I could change anything it would be the shape of the underseat bay but for commuting it's passable. It's just a bit of a struggle...

Tripmeters A & B
What are tripmeters A & B for? This is probably me being blonder than blonde but I have no idea why there are two tripmeters or how to make use of them.

Re: Orange running lights
Thanks Gn2, having had my Forza for 5 weeks now I was worried that there was a fault. I didn't notice the running lights until my first trip at night and I came to a stand in a side street and saw my reflection in a shop window. I had an idea I'd find out on this forum. Why not fit white LEDs? In fa...

Re: traded in my PCX
Picked up my new Forza last week after trading in the PCX. Very impressed but just a little perturbed about that fuel guage. As on the PCX the fuel guage sits at FULL for ages then comes down quickly...very quickly on the Forza. I filled up today with 8.2 litres meaning that I had 3.4 litres sloshin...

Re: warrantee issues
Solo one, this has been the subject of numerous threads (try a search). Most folk will agree that leaving the valve clearances to 5,000 or longer is acceptable as long as their PCX is running okay. I had mine serviced at 600 and 2700 miles and the clearances were fine at the last service. My dealer ...

Re: Fuelly.com call to arms
Yep, I'm on Fuelly.com too. I managed 132 Uk mpg once and am now somewhere between 115-120 on a regular basis. If only it were a little cheaper to have dealer serviced.

Re: Can't find my tax disc
My tax disc is on the left-hand side near the air filter cover. I think that's where most dealers put them so you should find it easily. If you have the 'reminder' from the DVLA just renew online. If your disc has fallen off or been stolen just get a new anti-theft holder and carry on as normal. You...

Re: Forza has arrived.
I like the fact that there is no drilling required to install a top-box. Undo a couple of screws and the tailpiece comes off. They've modified the fuel cap 'flap' so that it's not so vulnerable too apparently. Simple things like these, and the cheap addition of a digital clock, could have done so mu...

Re: Dead battery cause found
My PCX is 15 months old now and the only battery-related issue I've had is that on one occasion the engine would turn as normal but would only just 'catch' then stop running after less than 2 seconds. In fact, thinking about it, I'm not sure it was the battery as I could press the starter button and...

Why oh why won't Honda do something about the hump? So many people have issues with it. Just take it away completely.

Re: Decisions decisions
I love my PCX125....but would just like a little more oomph for the M23 (just to keep up with most of the traffic) I think the PCX 150 would be an ideal compromise for me. That said, I think there's a Forza going to be built in a few months with my name on it for delivery next Spring or early Summer.
