Re: Whoa! PCX first part fail - cracked reserve tank outlet
I've crashed 3 times and it's still OK. Body work is pretty "tarnished" but holding up. I love fairings they protect the important bits.

Re: Cheap lesson: add me to the crash list?
Gear helps you at any speed, and speed is not the only decided factor in injuries sustained whilst falling off a bike. HOW you fall off and on what body parts you land on also determine the injuries. I've fallen off going at 20kmph and hurt my knee quite bad due to it being one of the first impact z...

Rear Wheel - Audible Clicking Noise When Spinning
Hello there it's me the tube yankeroffererfail guy... Back with another doosey. Ok so ... - Rear wheel off the ground, bike on centre stand - Spin rear wheel forwards or backwards with hand - Hear a medium harshness clicking noise that speeds up or slows down depending on the speed of the wheel rota...

Re: PCX Long Term Reviews
6 months here. 2015 PCX150 new from the dealer. So far so good and I've dropped it twice so that shows something. Have done both the 1k and 4k service, nothing was out of spec and i like to ride a mix of gentle cruise and WOT (150cc thrills) Honestly there's been no small or major issue with the bik...

Re: Crankcase breather tube - Difficulty in removing plastic
As before try the just yank it with all your might and don't care if it breaks. Try and get something behind the top end... So like tweezers or wire to break the "seal" it has around the black tube end. But yeah they seem to withstand a lot of force or more than I expected so just be rough...

Re: Crankcase breather tube - Difficulty in removing plastic
I knew it was a silly question however I tend to have trouble with things as I don't "go the full mile" and am learning as I go. For example recently broke some of the connecting plastic clips while removing the rear pillion handle cover. Metal things I am more "strong" with as t...

She used "I don't care if it breaks" attitude and yanked it off
Slipped back on just fine.
Glad I can help.

I average an average of 50km/l and I do not ride "conservatively" most of the time.

Re: Crankcase breather tube - Difficulty in removing plastic
Lolz. So tried the heat method and it still wouldn't budge. Then I tried the "partner who fixes everything" method and what do you know she took it off. I think I am just afraid of braking things and so never go hard out on pushing/pulling things. This has been the case with a lot of diffe...

Re: Crankcase breather tube - Difficulty in removing plastic
I understand it's not the most urgent maintenance job, just wanted to start somewhere (the other place i started is breaking some plastic clips on the rear grip handle cover!
) in terms of learning about the bike and each part etc.
anyway willl try blow dryer tomorrow and report back.

The "simply wriggle and pull off" part is the part that doesn't work for me.iceman wrote:A bit like this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFlH57ahtbo

Re: Crankcase breather tube - Difficulty in removing plastic
Thanks for the suggestions. I tried the pliers (without the cloth though) and pulled quite hard but I am afraid to break the tube.
Didn't think about the blow dryer or detergent idea though.
Will do.

Crankcase breather tube - Difficulty in removing plastic
Hello everyone ... I have a 2015 PCX150. This may sound stupid but I literally cannot remove the crankcase breather tube. I've loosened the metal tightener thingo, and try as I might with fingers, tweezers, pliers, twisting, pushing, squeezing.. I cannot remove the bloody thing! I've tried getting a...

Re: YSS shocks adjustment question
I've got the PCX shocks with the reservoir (G Series something) I figured out the preload ok, and I believe compression/rebound damping control are the two little bolt/screws on the base and top ridge of the reservoir. Totally agree regarding the handling of the bike post shock upgrade... I definite...

Re: YSS rear shocks installed - report
Hey all, Just upgraded the stock shocks to the YSS G Series (the one with the resovoir). Overall the rear feels a lot more stable and firm in the bumps (and corners). The stocks seem to bottom out and transfer the energy to your body more. Whereas the YSS absorb it firmly, feeling more like a car or...

Re: What has been your longest continual ride on the PCX?
Probably around 3 hours. No long journeys aren't the PCX's forte, though I always try... I am upgrading the rear shocks this weekend, and will report on any noticeable changes (after fiddling with the shock settings) It's not so much the wind that gets me.. More the bumps and potential to discover v...

Don't they normally state that seats are made to order and can take a while?

Re: Will the Shoei Neotec fit under the PCX seat?
Just to note... I have a Shoei GT-Air Large and it fits relatively fine in my '15 PCX150. If you notice on the underside of the seat there is a small oval shaped protusion of soft (foam stuff) which compresses slightly against the helmet however I think that is what it's designed to do. Anyone else ?
