Re: Kymco downtown 300i
Sold my PCX the other month and now got a 2010 Xmax 250, Very happy with it so far, fast, comfy and doing about 75 mpg. Loads of storage under the seat, and much better with a pillion

Re: Anybody had a stuck on swingarm?
Yes, had that when i changed my tyres last year, was a right pain to get off. I ended up hammering wooded wedges between the rear wheel hub and swingarm, it came of in the end with no damage

Re: Puncture advice...
You'll save yourself some money if your able to take the wheel out yourself, and get it fitted loose by your dealer. I bought a set of Michelin City Grips for my PCX for the £80 mark online, and my local bike garage fitted and balanced them both for £20. My local Honda dealer quoted £180 for a pair ...

Its nothing simple like exhaust starting to blow?
I'm not sure where the water pump is on these, could it be the bearings there?

Re: First performance upgrade(s) for long journey - Top Spee
I had a large givi screen fitted to mine when I bought it, but found it knocked a few mph off the top speed (wouldn't go above 60mph). Replaced with standard and a bit quicker (62mph on A roads), and I dont get any wetter in the rain. I think they are restricted electronically in the UK, you can fee...

Re: uk members
Just checked, they seem OK, didn't realise you could buy the 150 in the UK. Looks like they import from the EU, hence them having the 150. The Honda 2 year warranty would cover the 125, your local Honda dealer would honour it if anything went wrong (it would have to be serviced as recommended). I'm ...

I got a set sent from Europe a couple of months ago, rear from Germany and front from France, total cost £70 inc postage. Very happy with them

Re: Gas mileage only 81 to 85 MPG
are you UK based, just wondered if you have a 125 or 150? I have a 2011 PCX125, 5500 miles, averages 98 mpg, and no shudder on accelerating. speedo reads 62/63mph most of time, i commute along A11 so WOT most of time I believe if the valve clearances are incorrect, it could cause poor performance and...

Re: Stock Tire mileage
Recently changed my IRC's on my 2011 PCX125 at 5200 miles, had an advisory at the MOT. Rear was on the wear indicator, front had lots of tread but as a set of Michelin City grips were under £70 I stuck a set of them on. I was hoping they would be much better than the stock IRC's, but to be honest th...

Bollocks, seem to have the exact same swingarm problem on mine. Bike is a 2011 PCX125 with 5200 miles, still on original IRC tyres. Will try penetrating spray for a start

Replacement bars
Has anyone successfully fitted aftermarket bars on the PCX? I find the standard bars uncomfortable, and prefer the straighter style motocross style I'd like something like this, just wondered if anyone fitted similar, and do all cables/brake lines still fit, and the bars move left/right without hitt...
