Re: General Suspension Questions
How many miles on your scoot? When I bought my scoot with 7K miles, the suspension didn't bother me. But at 38K miles I started to feel every bump, many of the bigger ones I had to lift my but of the seat otherwise I felt my spine compress, lol. After I added the YSS shocks, front and rear. I didn't...

Re: 2021 Honda PCX "160"
The rear disk brake might still not make it to the States, just look at the current modal. I think the big plus of the new PCX is the 4 valve head. This might be the first Honda PCX to be able to hit 70mph out of the box, maybe.

Re: What bike got you into this?
My fist ride was a Heinkel Tourist scooter.... That's pretty cool Old Scoot. Also your name checks out. ;) How did you shift those scooters? Gil 4 speed hand shift with hand operated clutch, left side of handlebar, 1st gear turn to the front, 2nd, 3rd and 4th turn to the back neutral was between 1s...

Drag Race is the one with the dark background. The app I couldn't remember the name off is TRC.

Sweet, great job with the idea of using WD40. I keep your fix in mind when I have issue with the switches.

Re: My PCX just ran a 1/4-mile in under 20sec, y'all!!
The lag at launch is slowing me down. Will try stiffer clutch springs. That seems like a GPS issue more than your spring. Or like you just took your hand off the throttle or something. Pretty sure you'll see a smoother graph after more runs. Sometimes going back the way you came from can give diffe...

You could check the continuity on the plug with a voltmeter.

Re: What bike got you into this?
My first ride was a 1984 Yamaha riva 170. Great little scooter with plenty of power, but a bit of flex in the chassis. WHat I missed the most from that scooter was the disk type clutch, smooth engagement on takeoff.

Re: impressive ryker ride
yes but it goes in the snow and keeps the cabin fever away. It really is not like a scooter except for the CVT transmission and your still riding. My wife calls it my tri cycle I had a tricycle when I was a kid and lived in Mexico. That thing got welded a few times, I guess it couldn't handle the o...

Re: Left hand indicators stopped working.
As described in this ‘old’ thread, the left indicator of my 2013 125 PCX has just stopped working. The right side is fine. Nothing obvious happened to my knowledge. Can anyone suggest anything for me to fix this please? Clearly my model is a non-LED version. I have a 2013 PCX. Start with the easy s...

I like those wings, where did you get them? Koso makes the real ones but they are on backorder so I went ahead and ordered some cheapy knock off ones from Amazon. As for your take off, Im going to be changing out my clutch springs soon Gil. Its the 3 pack from Malossi. Im thinking im going to run t...

I'm not too far from you guys. I'm gonna try stiffer clutch springs. At launch my scoots RPM drops considerably when the clutch engages. I think I could gain a second.

I agree. What about the fuses? Have those checked.springer1 wrote:I’m not knowledgeable to troubleshoot but I think this point he made is important5 If I remove the relay(CB1-12V ACB13201) tap on the relay and then start the bike for a split second it comes to life and gone again

On my 2013 PCX 150, I ended up replacing the clutch bell with a textured surface one. Smooth engagement now.
