I run two 10 watt LED auxillary lights. You can find them on Amazon for $26 a pair. No need to run old school incandescent.

Re: 2013 150 Engine Mods?
Hi Gil (check ya bloody PMs!), I've started a thread with PCXs doing just under 13.5s 1/4 miles. They probably have every mod you can think of with very high stall clutches and extremely tight contra springs, but the CVT can obviously can take a lot of power with regular belt changes (or breakages....

Re: Best trip average km/l or mpg
Hello everyone, I haven't attempted to install the gas tank yet as I'm still in the research stage. I still plan on going ahead with the tank swap, but since I'll be the first one to attempt this, I wan't to have all my bases covered. Meaning that I wan't to have all the possible parts that I might ...

Re: 2013 150 Engine Mods?
Good info on BBKs. Does anyone know how much power can the CVT handle, slipping belt?
Also, how much is the overall cost for a BBK, cam and with fuel management?
I'm thinking in terms of dollers per horsepower cost?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Engine lost power
Check for exhaust leaks. Additional oxygen in the exhaust will mess with the O2 sensor reading leading to a bad fuel mixture. A overly rich mixture will overheat your cathalytic converter, causing it to melt and clog your exhaust.

Re: Tapping noise coming from bottom end of engine
Yes I've looked at it as in taken it out and looks as it works as it should. Correct me if I'm wrong but if timing was a problem bike wouldn't start smoothly and noise would differ when operating throttle as in there would be acceleration and deceleration in timing. But will check it too since I've...

Re: Tapping noise coming from bottom end of engine
Did you ever take a look at the timing chain tensioner. My scooter made a similar sound and it turned out to be the timing chain tensioner.

Could this ecu be able to control a turbo engine. Does have control over ignition timing?

Re: Losing oil?
I wouldn't worry too much, just check your oil more often. Oil might be getting into the combustion chamber through the evaporation plumbing. At high RPM engine oil will tend to go through their into the intake side of the engine and over a long ride noticeable oil consumption will occur. This type ...

If you feel cheap and don't need as much heat then this cheap ebay kit might be for you. http://www.ebay.com/itm/121670721414?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I bought this kit and installed it on my PCX. It definitely isn't as hot as OXFORD over-grip grip heaters that ...

I love this forum, we all seem to be on the same page. I have ridden "real" motorcycles with their shifting, harsh suspension and hand numbing vibrations. In short I didn't like them, my Honda helix was so much smoother than a motorcycle and now my Honda PCX.

Re: Broke my left leg, gear ideas?
This is why I generally like to keep enough distance between me and the car in front of me in case I need to stop in a hurry. I also generally give buses and other large vehicles a wide berth in case a car tries to cut right behind it. Hadn't thought about this situation, I'll keep it in mind. Gil

Re: Best trip average km/l or mpg
My best in 29 fuel-ups is 96 and my worst was 80 mpg (US). My 2013 also has a tiny tank and it's really getting frustrating how often I need to fill up. Yesterday at 89 miles into a ride I planned a stop 23 miles away and had to search google maps for gas because there probably wouldn't be any gas ...

How many miles on your PCX. Odometer reading?
Hello everyone, I'm a new PCX owner from Santa Cruz county, California. I got my hands on a nice 2013 Honda PCX 150 with 7500 miles. I'm already doing mods to my scoot, like Honda rack, retrofitted windscreen and NCY variator. That's all good and fun, but I would like to know how many miles do you a...
