How didi you get on with this Part by the way. Did it show up and fit. I am also trying to locate this part for a project I am working on. Can you remember the UK supplier.

Re: Bigger Grips. Converting 7/8 motorcycle Grips.
Because of the ridges, I would want to feel them in my hands before committing to purchasing them. On the PCX they feel like gel grips used on mountain bikes. Very comfortable as they compress when you grip them. Think they still have them on Lazada. I wouldn't pay more than £10 pound for these as ...

Retrofitting the PCX 2014/15/16 Black,Red,Chrome
image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg I am about 80% done with my Thai ride but thought it would interest some people into what you can actually put on the new version. Many parts of my PCX are from older versions but just need some minor adjustments to fit all. Will upload a video soon detailing some o...

Re: Fitting 13" wheels and wide tires on PCX 150
The PCX wheel and tire change problems are now behind us with the help of the very nice guys at X-Speed Bangkok. The IRC 110/90-13 was a no go and as suggested on this forum we ended up fitting a IRC MB99 130/60-13 on the front and an MB99 130/70-13 on the back. Also replaced the rear shocks with Y...

Re: compatible wheels?
I would go to a good tire fitter first with real experience rather than hearsay and a handful of people who have put a 140 and aftermarket air box who really don't want to tell you how weird the tire looks on the rim or the speed they love at through the air box. A good fitter will use the correct g...

Re: Air box, Snorkel?
The snorkel removal will change the sound...there will be extra dirt but filter clean in a 5 min job. The after market air boxes suck in way to much air for the pcx and loose power from low to high revs as well as making it a little hotter in the pipes. Lost 5 to 7 km with the aftermarket filters so...

Re: How to disable left lever start function?
Left lever start function only involves a piece of plastic with copper inside being pushed out by a spring. You can trim off 10mm after removing the brake lever and inserting some plastic into to hole to secure it there. Job done.

PCX 150 2015/16 Front side panel removal (Video)
Here is the front side panel removal video... you can thank Youtube user KaanKaya who asked me to make this video. Though my PCX is modified very differently in the back end 95% of the procedure is the same, you can cross reference other tail removal videos to be sure but back end is mostly common s...

Re: Fitting 13" wheels and wide tires on PCX 150
I'm going to suggest any tire that flares out so much on the sides like that is not a good idea. I love bigger fatter tires but pound for pound these tires could blow out from the side wall off the rim if you go down a hole big enough. A 110 just about fits the front...god knows how much grinding is...

Re: Air box, Snorkel?
Remove the snorkel. There is no change in power only in sound...and it's better. It replaces the clicker you click crap from the rollers etc. As far as engineering of these boxes etc here in Thailand nearly every bike be it a click or fino has exactly the same setup air box from 100cc to 150cc. They...

St Clair, I may have asked this before, I can't recall. What part of Thailand are you in? Hi. I am living in Hua Hin, close to cha am. 2 hours from Bangkok. You. In the heart of Bangkok, a few minutes walk from the intersection of Asoke and Sukhumvit (Terminal 21). I love living in the city, but wo...

Re: Bigger Grips. Converting 7/8 motorcycle Grips.
Thank you St. Clair for the video showing us how you installed your Kuryakyn grips. These are a popular choice among bikers. Good looking too. I'm wondering, did I see a throttle control? @wm, your bottom pic of grips reminds me of "grip puppies." I have an unused pair around here somewhe...

Re: Bigger Grips. Converting 7/8 motorcycle Grips.
I came to like Biltwell grips on my old CB550s; hoping they will be adaptable to my new PCX. Do the weights on the handlebar ends serve any real purpose? I assume they do, since Honda put them there. I think the Bolt well grip will be fine. The most you will have to do is remove the inner throttle ...

Bigger Grips. Converting 7/8 motorcycle Grips.
Just thought I would share some info on grips. Most grips are made from two or three parts so there is no reason you cannot use most grips after some modifications. Kuryakyn is the name of the grips I use, very comfortable but they wear down if you use gloves with armoured inner grips.....so I don't...
