Seems like their negligence to me and I don't think it was prepped properly if you had a loose oil cap /dip stick.. Also ...

You should check the oil level in the crankase and gear box.Mostlikely a loose oil drain plug, but you can check that yourself and put a wrench on it to see if its leaking and snug.

Just another expensive PITA problem.. Eliminate it if possible.. Not worth the aggravation. Too many essential variables to keep it sound and operational.

When I was kid up on Long Island I was into SCUBA diving. Went diving in 30 deg one day ..Came out of the water and didn't feel the ground again for two days.. Had a wet suit on but no booties.. I think I lasted maybe 15 minutes.. When you're a kid there are no obstacles especially for the dumb ones...

Tall windshield works great for me.If you keep it short you will need a full helmet with face shield which many prefer. Not me i like the feel of the wind and more in touch with my surroundings. To each is own,but tall windshield works good at sending wind over my head and helps keeping rain off my fa...

When people start adopting a neutral perspective on things and simply observe, process and move on....judgement ends. That's part of maturity and wisdom
Yeah Right..like that will ever happen. I dont disagree but from what Ive seen doesn't seem to be part of human DNA.. unfortunately!

Such discipline..Every worker is identically dressed in same clean uniform, same hat, shirt and pants and everyone wears gloves . I just wonder how accurate all those pneumatic wrenches are after being thrown about. The service manual always gives us specific torque values but wonder how specific/ac...

Re: Possibly a helpful tip.. FYI
Dremel would work or any cut off saw with a circular metal cut off wheel .. I used a 4 1/2 inch cut off wheel for metal cutting. Like you said wedge something under the bead between rim and tire and in a second its cut .

Re: Possibly a helpful tip.. FYI
Yes thats how I remove the tire.I just use sharp stiff serrated knife and simply cut across the rubber. No fighting easy takeoff and easy disposal. When you get to the steel bead use snips or cut off saw.
