I just changed the stock rollers to 12.5 g sliders and see some improvemnt when going uphill. It accelerates faster and the speed I can reach uphill is also more.
The top speed increased by about 5 kph.

Stock roller weight is 15g as far as I know. I am still using these rollers but have ordered 12.5 g sliders just a few days ago.

Re: Forza top speed?
I am getting 135 kmph (84 mph) with my 200 lbs behind a tall Honda screen and a 55 litre Givi top box hanging out the back. Wind direction seems important for top speed. Going downhill does not seem to make much difference. I have 40,000 km on my 2014 Forza 300. so that all relates to a Forza 300? ...

~1988: around 5 am on a very dark country road: a wild boar ran across the road in front of me and I think I touched it with my front wheel.

Re: Mileage of your PCX
Wow you changed your rollers 5 times, so every ~ 6000 miles? Because of performance changes or because they wear out that fast?buddy1976 wrote:PCX 125 esp 2013
28,000 miles
At least 4 belts and 5 x roller changes(these were done way before they were NEEDED to be)

Re: Mileage of your PCX
None, I gather zanggerk was getting confused with US vs UK (european?) gallons as in quoted mpg. The mile is 1,609 meters the world over, except in Belgium where it is 1,608 meters due to the Belgium chocolate covenant of 1603 < apparently! Sorry about the confusion. I was also thinking about nauti...

Mileage of your PCX
Hi there, I was wondering what the typical and maximum mileage of PCX riders in this forum is. Since most users here are probably from the US, I suggest that we use US miles. I currently have 9600 miles (15450 km) on mine. What is your current mileage? What parts did you have to replace? Best regard...

Re: MPG
So I just went through my first tank of gas and averaged just at 70 MPG. I live in a very small town and mostly it's just me. I weigh 225 lbs. Sometimes I take my daughter, at 115 lbs, and we go out a random road, cruising about 55 mph. Sometime the wife and I make short trips, which is over the ma...

Re: pot hole danger?
Just curious... I've been really cautious about hitting a pot hole with my PCX 150... wondering if anyone here has ever actually gone down from a pot hole hit, or if it's generally a big bang shock but the bike will keep on moving?? (Of course, I have hit a few small holes with no problem) It all d...

Re: Does my rear brake need rebuilding?
Once you adjusted the cable you can also get an indication about the wear of the brake shoes by looking at how close the little mark and arrow are at the rear brake when you pull the handlebar all the way. That's described in the manual on page 110. Anyway, after 5 years of riding you might well hav...

Re: PCX 125 or XR 125
Hi Mark, it would be good to know how much your budget for the bike is. I also think that the PCX is probably not the best choice for your commute. It certainly can be done, but I don't think it will be fun for you for a long time. Personally, I don't feel very comfortable riding the PCX around 100 ...

Re: Advice for riding with passenger?
Don't let the passenger sit side saddle until you are comfortable with the normal passenger position. I would not recommend having a passenger sitting side saddle at all. I have only seen that in Asia anyway. In India I saw up to 4 people on a scooter (including one baby) :o Always take only one pa...
