Re: PCX2025 with upgraded rear shocks
Wow airhead, I assumed wrong concerning the US market model. But the "upgraded" PCX overseas gets the TFT? display and the remote reservoir rear shocks. Overseas has a base model as well. I prefer the drum rear brake myself. I'm a simpleton at heart. Another weird thing I saw was the overs...

Re: PCX2025 with upgraded rear shocks
I have a 2023 and find the OEM rear shocks okay. I'm a fatty at 230 pounds and my wife is 140ish. Solo I have no issues, 2-up it gets a bit crashy and tries to bottom out over bigger bumps. I have just under 2000 miles on my PCX. It loosened up a bit over time and got softer. I read a review from En...

Re: Help with 2019 PCX 150 Rattle or Tapping noise when maintaining throttle position? (includes video)
It finally got hot enough here that I wore half helmet for the first time since getting my PCX. Man this scooter makes some weird noises! I'm at 1,300 miles and as long as it runs fine I'm ignoring them. My local Honda dealer quoted me $300 to check the valves. Since it's under warranty and I have z...

Re: 2023 PCX PUIG V-Tech touring review.
I'll try to get pictures up of the PUIG clip-on extension this weekend. Mine is the true clip-on, size large. I think the packing also included the template (and hardware?) to drill the windscreen and hard mount it. I like the clip- on option and so far it hasn't come loose, though I'm not sure if i...

Re: PCX wouldn't start
My 2023 will pull this stunt once in awhile. It just "won't start" and you'll smell gas. I have to pull the throttle open when starting it, like goosing the gas pedal on a old car. This mostly happens if I move it a short distance. Rare but it happens. I know this sounds silly but did you ...

Re: 2023 PCX PUIG V-Tech touring review.
Got rained on,or actually dumped on, last night coming home from work. So I'll update rain control. Frontal protection is a strong 8 out of 10. My fat butt broke the Plastic zipper on my old Alpinestars rain jacket so I had to ride home with it unzipped and I stayed pretty dry from the front. Other ...

Re: Bought a new left-over 2023 PCX today!
Getting my first service done tomorrow morning (3-18-25) for the 600 mile check-up. Dealer said it takes around 30-45 minutes so I'll just wait for it. Will post the cost and what was involved when it gets done.

Re: Bought a new left-over 2023 PCX today!
I'll be at the 600 mile first service by next week. I'm gonna drop by the Honda dealership and see how long it'll take and make a appointment, so I can wait for it. I need to give the PCX a bath as well. We just got done having snow and it still has road grime all over it. I hate dirty scoots. It's ...

Re: 2025 Honda PCX 160 US model
Like that the color is shiny, don't really like that the color is gray. But aside from the covered handlebars everything else seems the same. Oh, restyled headlight looks nice. Still want like to see it in person.

Re: 2023 PCX PUIG V-Tech touring review.
I'll get pics up this weekend but I purchased the PUIG clip-on windshield extender (large size) and finally got it installed. I couldn't take the wind turbulence clipping the top my helmet anymore. The extender was $114 (?) on Revzilla and I applied some of my Zilla cash towards it. Pictures and det...

Re: Bought a new left-over 2023 PCX today!
I stopped by my local Honda dealership this morning to have them look at my key issue. After a bunch of stressful wiggling the lead mechanic got the key out. I also took the spare/extra key with me and after realizing the spare key was fine the mechanic found the slightest of slight bur on the tip o...

Re: Bought a new left-over 2023 PCX today!
At 200 miles and my ignition key is STUCK in the key slot. It'll start, stop and allow me seat and gas access but the key will not come out. I felt a slight click as it happened. Thankfully the scoot is parked at home, that is secure, and at work, very secure. Will post my findings after getting it ...

SHAD top box mounting kit and SHAD SH34 review.
I got a SHAD top box mounting kit and a new carbon fiber look SH34. The SHAD top box kit mounts VERY solid with quality mounting hardware and decent instructions. I'm a SHAD fanboy and have used them since SHAD started importing to the USA. I also got a slightly bigger top box from my old SH29 to a ...

2023 PCX PUIG V-Tech touring review.
I ordered a PUIG V-Tech touring for my 2023 PCX and this is my short review. I purchased a light smoke V-Tech. It looks really good on the scooter and fits with no rattle or creaking. Was easy to install (except that dumb panel around the base of the windscreen, it kicked my butt) and uses no extra ...

Re: Bought a new left-over 2023 PCX today!
I still need to post a comparison review of the 2023 PCX against my old 2023 Buddy 125 on this site BUT if you wanna read it now I posted one on Modern Buddy. I have around 35 miles on the PCX and it's been raining so no daily rides for me. My wife did a brief passenger run and said the passenger ac...

Re: what was your previous job?
I used to do landscaping/lawn care. Started my own lawn care business and ended up closing it down. Started at a factory that makes small engines. Left said factory for a few years driving 18 wheelers OTR. Went back to the small engine factory and have been there 28 years. I work in the environmenta...
