Re: pcx parked up for now

Some dealers have higher labour rates than others. I pay circa £110 for a PCX service which includes a replacement bike for the day. Personally I think that's not a bad price for the work that is required to be done and a day's bike hire. The only problem is the frequency which is hardly the dealer...

Re: pcx parked up for now

Far from an apologist, I know how much labour is involved and how much that labour costs. I also know how much motorcycle hire costs. So, I'm just being realistic. If you wish to trade insults with me I have to warn you that I am extremely gifted in this area and give you fair warning that you may ...

Except that Velcro is incredibly strong and as long as the adhesive that hold the Velcro in place is up to the job and the GPS unit is secure then that should be OK

Side opening seat is a good idea. Was pretty normal on 70s/80s bikes.

What happened?

Re: Eurocup 2012

Moto GP is extremely predictable. Every race this year will be won by Stoner, Lorenzo or Pedrosa. The championship will be won by Stoner, Lorenzo or Pedrosa. Nonsense It could be Lorenzo, Pedrosa, Stoner Or Lorenzo, Stoner, Pedrosa Or Stoner, Pedrosa, Lorenzo Or Pedrosa, Lorenzo, Stoner Or Pedrosa,...

Re: Hello All! Stock grey pcx, now with one mod...

Got to admit the PCX could do with a clock. Would have been good to have one as part of the dash, wouldn't have cost Honda much and I'd happilly pay for it in the retail price.

Are there any other clocks out there?

I'm excited to discover all the add ons available for this little fella! Just a standard seal grey one, but I'm claiming the fact that I've just screwed a clock on as ...

Re: Better than money in the bank

The (non-US) 1000 was the same engine sleeved down with lumpier cams and slide carbs. The 1100 was possibly a marginally better motor for road use but due to the aforementioned rarity, an original condition single colour five spoke 1000 is the one to have. Wouldn't be that fagged myself. Rather enj...
