Re: Interesting...
it looks like its just a fuel controller base on connecting it to the o2 and IAT sensor and no ignition timing controller. I'm going to be trying a two brothers juice box pro that meant for a zuma 125 that my buddy is gonna let me try. Hooks up to those sensors as well.

Re: Microsquirt Standalone for 2013 PCX 150 motor
It should be doable, only thing to wire around is the stator/starter controller that is part of the ecu. I was thinking of microsquirt as a better and cheaper option that what is offered at the moment. That's the complication because the flywheel/stator doesn't have any pick-up for ignition. I'm st...

Microsquirt Standalone for 2013 PCX 150 motor
I'm gonna bite the bullet on this. Since there's no available tuning standalone ecu for the 2013 PCX 150 motors, I'm going to try out the microsquirt standalone ecu. I was on a the Yuminashi piggy back and its good for the stock motor. Since I've BBK my motor to a TRP 175cc kit, the Yuminashi piggy ...

Re: ECU tuning pgm fi controller yuminashi
If I'm guessing correctly about the grom video you watch. He is using the standalone ecu and Yuminashi/API tech software is different from the piggyback versus the standalone. Standalone software has more option versus the piggyback software. So, to enrichment the fuel mixture it has to be done with...

Re: Freeway riding
I'm from the Bay Area. I had my PCX and rode it on hwy 880, 237, 101, 680, etc. You'll be good especially when it comes to commute hours as we can lane split but be careful about it. I've had some close calls with drivers not watch when they would change lanes. Get a variator/drive face, taller rear...

Re: PCX150 and Ruckus PCX150 swap
My PCX 150 mount for the ruckus was made by Steady Garage out in Los Angeles, CA. Getting a fuel injected zoomer ruckus tanks is helpful as you don't have to make a custom FI ruckus tank. A little update. The pcx motor did 76mph hitting the limiter with the NYC variator, drive face, exhaust, 11g sli...

I had to give the company a try but I guess my experience is the same with others in the past. I thought they'd be a better company now.homie wrote:Since I membered this forum years ago this is still good advice.

DO NOT BUY FROM YUMINASHI
DO NOT BUY FROM Yuminashi!!!! They will give you BBK kits with missing head gaskets, Parts that have not been check before leaving their shop. like giving you 2 intake rocker arms instead of 1 intake and 1 exhaust rocker arm and no tappet screws. ordering from them and taking 3 months to receive you...

Re: PCX150 and Ruckus PCX150 swap
A little update. The pcx motor did 76mph hitting the limiter with the NYC variator, drive face, exhaust, 11g sliders and filter. 83mph (10,2xx rpm)with adding the Yuminashi PGM-FI controller. The PCX motor has potential for some power. https://photos.smugmug.com/Random-Uploads/i-kdgVh3d/0/1dbdd949/M...

Re: Rollers or Sliders
So dropping from 18g to 13g or 12g rollers doesn't send you to the rev limiter at lower speed than what its suppose to be? I'm still a newb with CVT tuning on the 2013 pcx 150 and use to tuning a ruckus.

Re: PCX150 and Ruckus PCX150 swap
Whoa!! Help me understand this, did you put the backend of the PCX on the Ruckus? As well, I can see from the post style signal lights that you are in either Canada or the US. Could you list your location with your profile? It helps us help you. the swap is just the motor with a custom motor mount ...

PCX150 and Ruckus PCX150 swap
Hi All, Just sharing my 2013 PCX 150 and ruckus PCX 150 swap. Both have the NYC variator and drive face installed. Still learning more about performance mods for the PCX. https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-t6LsdkK/0/9eb49806/L/i-t6LsdkK-L.jpg https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-cDc2Jj6/0/5e9680e3/L...
