National Cycle windscreen install and review

After reading Ishkabibble's windshield upgrade post, http://www.hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=6054, I decided to try the short National Cycle screen. At 5'8" I hoped to get the screen low enough to give me decent air cooling, but also a place to tuck behind when it got chilly or on the h...

I'd be more comfortable with 70mph. It's been dropping from 68 max to 65 recently. That's just a bit slow on a California freeway. :D

Re: Show those beautiful PCX's

Bummer that those tires scrub off some speed. I can't afford to lose any speed, given I need to get on the highway to "escape." My scoot, Sunday on the Coast Highway.

Re: Honda PCX 150(awesome scooter)

I put a little over 200 miles on it this past week and that includes trips of 30 miles at a time.Going places that were not possible with the last 2 scooters. I've got 6300 miles on mine. Bought it in September. 207 miles Saturday. 225 miles on it Sunday. I just ordered a short National Cycle winds...

Re: Holy cupping Batman!

Hmm. My scoot is going in for 6000 miles service Thursday. I'll ask them to look at the tires and do so myself. I spend at least 20 miles/week at max speed. Plenty of 45-50mph, too. Some roads are very rough here, and I seem to seek them out. Rear tire is definitely showing wear. 432 new miles over ...

Re: Who here has a youtube channel and what channels do you

I've finally got a few videos up since mounting my Garmin Virb to the handle bars. Nothing fancy with editing. I turn down the volume by 50%. I can see I turn in on my corners too soon. https://www.youtube.com/user/5691Mark I love CageronTwoWheels for his reviews. You know what he thinks and what to...

Re: Commonly used websites for purchases and meetups?

Hello all. I'm super new to this and riding. I can't find any riding groups in 95060. Tried F.B. and was directed to link and wanted $/to join. I saw the 1st post did have a meet site for U.S. will try that but nobody rides scooters where I live. My local dealer is 30 miles away and the only sell 3...

Re: Best trip average km/l or mpg

My best in 29 fuel-ups is 96 and my worst was 80 mpg (US). My 2013 also has a tiny tank and it's really getting frustrating how often I need to fill up. Yesterday at 89 miles into a ride I planned a stop 23 miles away and had to search google maps for gas because there probably wouldn't be any gas s...

Re: Side luggage bags

MikeP, are these the bags: Super 2.0 Contoured Saddlebags? Which tailbag? 14L or 24L Yes those are the Super 2.0 bags with the 24L tail bag. Mel46, I do like my long rides, the picture is when I went to Prince George BC last spring. Averaged 500km per day. Need to learn how to pack lighter though. ...
