Re: Speed ?
I have never sat on the Forza, but I had a 2008 Kymco Xciting 300 which is perhaps fairly comparable. Personally, I don't think I'm slower now that my engine capacity is halved, but maybe I never really ride fast to begin with. And even for stability at my highest speed, I think PCX is better than t...

Not sure if I can find this loctite here.. What problems would I get if I don't loctite? You got nice clean tools set!WhiteNoise wrote:"Before" you're ready to set those bolts back in, apply a dab of loctite to their threads. Good luck!

Re: Handlebar bolts cover removal
That was easy. I first tried using cheap ordinary tape (not sticky enough), and then tried to pry using bicycle tyre lever (not thin enough). So before trying to find a stickier tape, had to try prying with a sharper object: cutter knife. DSC_0001.JPG No luck with bolt though. Only had my bicycle mu...

Re: Handlebar bolts cover removal
Nice, I will try that.
One more thing, the description on Ram mount says "Have an M8 by 25, 30, or 35mm handlebar bolt?". Is it safe to assume the ones in my PCX are M8 bolts in one of those lengths?

Handlebar bolts cover removal
I am in the process of deciding which RAM Mounts components to get, and for the base I kinda like the handlebar clamp base. But first I'd like to know how to remove the bolt cover the proper way without damaging anything.

Re: How to clean your PCX?
Pardon me, but has anyone tried any of those "nano"/"ceramic"/"glass" coating on their PCX? Lately I've been wondering if it would be worth paying for. It would make the PCX "self-cleaning" or at least easier to clean. No?

Objects that can fit inside the underseat storage
I am happy to find out today that it can easily fit this: DSC_0186.JPG To make it clear, I'm just a cruiser and can't do no tricks.. This kind of board with wheels used to be more fun and meaningful to me when I was studying in the UK. What things, especially the unusual ones, do you put under your ...

Re: Which bluetooth communicator?
I can't even find the words "water resistant" on any of Sena's official product pages. Also none in the downloadable user manual for 20S. I can't not ride in the rain.. If I need to move, I ride, rain or not.. Well I guess I can take the main unit off when it starts to rain, but that is as...

Which bluetooth communicator?
I want to upgrade my riding experience by getting a bluetooth communicator. After watching some youtube vidoes and reading some articles/reviews on some of them, I almost decided to get the Sena 20S. But after doing some more watching and reading, I am not confident about its durability in the rain....

The stock Dunlop made in Thailand is fine for me. I searched Jomtien and it appears that is in Thailand, so I guess you should get a better price than the rest of the world?

Re: Show those beautiful PCX's
I don't know where to get them, but I just looked at mine, and it is this.. The bubble dots are kinda cute, aren't they..?
I also searched online, and found they also do one without the "idling stop...", which is more appropriate for US models.

Re: PCX Mileage and driving style
, those claiming mileage in the 130's are generally using imperial gallons, not U.S. gallons. Those calculating on U.S. gallons generally don't see much over 100 if that. I guess I'm not in this general group. If it is style of riding, yes I'm mostly cruising at a target speed of 60-80kmh (37-50mph...

Re: What does your keyring look like?
Mine came with a thin flimsy ring, so I replaced it with a better one that came with a scrabble tile key charm (?). Also attached to the ring are capsule for storing my earplugs, the remote, and karabiner. And the red key is for topcase. This is rather bulky now that I think about it, but I need the...

First changed my gear oil at 800km (together with first engine oil change), as told by dealer (I know nothing). Only used like 1/4 of the bottle. I don't remember when he said the next one should be.. Maybe at 5000km or 8000km..

Re: Top boxes and trunks and mounting racks, oh my
I got Givi E30TN box and Givi SR1136 mount. I think the size is just right. E26 would have been too small and wasteful. Maybe, max a 33L box for a PCX to not look oddly out of proportion. No drilling needed for my 2015 PCX, so if i decide to go back top(box)less, it can be done without leaving any s...
