Per the maintenance schedule ( http://hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=323 ), the final drive oil should be replaced every 2 years. I recommend you change it more often if you ride a lot -- around 10k miles, my oil still looked good, but had some glitter in it. I would say 10k miles or every 2...

That's correct. Normally the noise only occurs when the rear wheel is turned with the engine not running (say while pushing the bike around to park it) or running at idle. Once the bike is underway and the clutch is fully engaged, the bearing stops turning and so the noise goes away. The bearing on...
