Re: Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 Twin - 2018
Yeah, Triumph and Ducati only have one sub 660cc "learner bike" in Aus from $14k AUD - bloody hell. And the W650 is no more.
This Indian chap has really good detailed criticisms of the interceptor. It seems the Conti GT would've been a better fit for him.

Re: Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 Twin - 2018
The Enfield twins are a little over $10k AUD here. The Vulcan 650 is around $11k, but a lot more bike. Can't understand why you think Vulcan is more bike? Demographics and styling aside - there's no question marks or concerns over Kwaka quality, good power from the liquid cooled en6 650cc (although...

Re: Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 Twin - 2018
The Enfield twins are a little over $10k AUD here. The Vulcan 650 is around $11k, but a lot more bike. The SWM Silver Vase 440 runout models are $5k for the big tank and the non ABS round tank style. When the new SWM ABS models hit our shores I expect the price to rise 2 or 3k. Anyhow, Royal Enfield...

They also fit into my 660cc restricted RE licence down here.

Grinner: You know my weakness for classic styled motos! How am I meant to stay a recovering cager with this level of temptation? SWM have some competition (sort of) with bigger capacity now. I've seen claims stating 47kW and 47hp, anyone know which it is? For ergonomics I would go for the Intercepto...

Re: Extra helmet?
I have few older helmets that I land to passengers. I feel confident in my riding abilities and tell the passengers to be a dead weight and not move unexpectedly. This is not such a big deal. I rode with a passenger on a 110 Honda Elite from Arkansas to LA, it was fine (and fun). People these days ...

Save yourself the eventual lawsuit and just say you can't.. If you have to ask, you're not ready. I believe in Australia you need to have held an open licence for 1 year before you can carry a pillion - no idea about the wild west? Even just having an empty top box on the back of your PCX negatively...

What happens in modern keyless ignition systems when you walk away with the key?
Does the ignition shut off? Cause that would solve things until they demanded the key.

It's possible that the OBDII interface only works on the current generation of PCX?
I'm pretty sure we established years ago that it wouldn't work on the first gen 2013-.

Re: Is bigger always better
I used to be 190cm tall or 6'3" in my younger days before injuries, so I think I must have long thigh bones and/or a big arse?
I tend to have trouble with my butt to knee length on planes, trains and automobiles. Public transport is never fun for me.

Re: Old vs New Forza 300
Dave: 49cc scooters are governed to 50kph (~30mph) by law in Australia. So outside of FLAT 50kph suburban streets (most are 60kph), they're practically useless. Given the OP is considering a Forza for commuting, he/she probably wants to feel secure riding on an highway and not get knocked around by ...

The Dobek EJK is fine for road tuning with an AFR gauge if you don't care about timing adjustment (or throwing a CEL...).
Megasquirt sounds familiar from my car tuning days 15 years ago?

I would ask for a circuit diagram and photo of the insides. But like Cube says, it looks like an expensive resistor.

The Xmax is a whopping £100 cheaper than the BV350, again, hardly worth worrying over.
