Re: rideing the pcx in the rain?
I also agree with Iceman. I ride all year round in Northwest England without any real problem. You just need to accelerate and brake in straight lines, watch your surface for white lines, leaves, potholes & such, and don't lean into your turns. It shouldn't need saying, but the PCX is not a per...

Re: Seat 7 from BikerBitz
I feel the same way as I will almost always be the only rider, and this is why I bought this seat. (My girlfriend rides her own scooter! :)) I could still have a passenger in a pinch if I needed to, but overall this seat makes the scooter much more comfortable and usable for me. Mine is a 2015 but t...

Re: Seat 7 from BikerBitz
Nice, thanks! Hopefully it won't take too long to get here from Thailand! :) Maybe you need to worry more about the time it takes Canadian mail once it gets there... That's weird, as I've never really had a problem with Canada Post, and I've bought lots of stuff off of Ebay from the US. But it's fu...

Re: A "Somewhat New" User
Unfortunately cycle ergo doesn't seem to allow linking to their image, but yes, now that you mention it I noticed that the seat felt a bit higher on the PCX as compared to the Forza. That low seat combined with the very forced seating position of the Forza was doing a real number on my bum knee. Eve...

Re: Seat 7 from BikerBitz
Awesome, thanks for the video. Glad to hear you like it because I just ordered this same seat for my PCX 150. The forced seating position of the stock seat keep my arthritic knee bent at too sharp of an angle so I can't really ride much. I can get relief by sitting up and back on the passenger seat,...

Re: A "Somewhat New" User
...How do you find the PCX coming from the Forza, speed and ride comfort wise? Well of course it took a bit to adjust to the drop in power and speed, but I didn't find it took long before I started to enjoy riding it better. Because I wanted something to augment my car for commuting and in city tra...

A "Somewhat New" User
Just took ownership of a new 2015 PCX 150 today. Snapped this pic while waiting for a small ferry on my way home from the dealership. I'm not exactly new to these forums though as I just traded in a Forza for this unit. :) IMAG0079.jpg I really liked the Forza, but after putting 180km on this today ...

Just wanted to share my experience with this cover as I found their standard Large size fits the Forza 300 pretty much perfectly. This is with no windshield or top case of any kind mounted mind you. I am considering a tall windshield and top box in the future but for now this thing fits perfect. Com...

Re: Newb battery charging questions
Hey, thanks everyone for the feedback, much appreciated. Dave I really like the looks of that solar tender. Seeing as my scoot is parked outside and any charger would have required me to run an extension cord out the front door of my apartment, this looks like a much more elegant solution, especiall...

Newb battery charging questions
I noticed that the dealer had installed a cable to the batter that seems permanently attached, coming out of the battery compartment. Now please bear with my newby-ness here but I believe this is a battery tender cable which I'm meant to attach a battery charger to if I have to leave the scoot sitti...

Re: Saddle Bags?
The national Suzuki demo ride team came to Chilliwack, BC today. They are from Ontario & Quebec. They took one look at the rain clouds and decided they were not going to unpack the bikes from the truck. They left town. Bunch of wimps! Now that's not right. But that behaviour doesn't surprise me...

Re: Saddle Bags?
Thanks very much for the info. I think I'll be ordering some soon. From what I've heard, Scottish rain is much like BC rain, so that's quite the endorsement!Robert R wrote:...Have been snowed on, rained on (scottish rain) and not a hint of dampness inside...

Re: Saddle Bags?
I got the Amphibious Moto bags. Cavernous and totally waterproof. Hold up to 50 litres each side. Slip on and of in seconds to access under seat storage. Easy to mount high enough to avoid exhaust contact and no frames required. I was looking at these online and considering them. Have you had/used ...

Re: seat damper/lift...or lack thereof
I was at my dealer yesterday and the service manager told me Honda does have an updated piston available now which apparently solves this problem for good. Only issue is that this also requires new mounts (his guess was they are probably bigger/beefier in order to hold what he assumes is a bigger/be...

Re: Better mirrors from Honda
I was staring at my son's 2014 CB500X.....his mirrors look just like my Forza's...but have a longer stem. With a tape I measured that his mirror is the same length as is my mirror with the added/ugly extenders . This morning I ordered a set of his mirrors. Fish Just wanted to say thanks for this gr...

Re: Better mirrors from Honda
Excellent! I've now removed all the mirrors from my car and bike and rely solely on shoulder checking! Great advice and SO much safer when dealing with high speeds, traffic, and especially both at the same time!gn2 wrote:Usefully, the human neck can turn around so that the eyes can look behind.

Re: Arrow Reflex 2.0 Exhaust
Johnny, Thank you for the compliment. If you'd like I can make another video (shorter of course) with the dB killer installed under same riding conditions. I'd love to hear it, if you don't mind going to the trouble. This is one of the exhausts I'm looking at. Looks and sounds great by the way. And...
