Owners manual says I'm due for belt change....I have 17K miles.
I suppose I'll be ordering an OEM belt soon.

Re: Forza Needs New Tires.
Got my tires, and changed front myself.
Pain-in-the-ass job, but doable.
Will do the rear in a about 1000 more miles.

Re: Forza Needs New Tires.
Thanks all.....ordered a set of Angels for $116 delivered. I hope they hold up well.
Will be installing them myself. I'll open another thread shortly when I kick off that challenge.
PS: I hate changing tires....will need to upgrade my irons for this job.

I've been off the boards for a while.
What tire vendor/product options (stock sizes) available nowadays?

Thanks

7850 miles on original rear tire!
I dont recommend it, but I got almost 8K miles out of my rear tire. Nylon was showing. Cost me over $180 to replace (86 for tire, 90 to install, tax). I decided to let stealership install it....too much trouble to pull wheel. Dealer would not give me bike back due to mandatory recall...so I had to w...

Re: VERY inexpensive Trunk and mounting plate for Honda For
18 month / 8000mile update. Case is still holding up well, but is starting to fade, especially on top where it gets more sun/weather exposure. Also the cheap plastic emblem peeled off of the top about 6 months ago leaving an ugly oval glue/paper outline. The latch has held up nicely....I have not ne...

Re: Speed ?
It was TWICE as expensive!!! PS: I paid $2999 (3300 out the door) for my NEW 2014 Forza a year ago. How did you get that kind of a deal on a Forza ???? Where ??? Washington DC is a pretty expensive area, not what I would expect from there. I got quoted 7000 dollars out the door for a 2016 Forza wit...

Re: Has anyone had their Forza seat fixed under warranty?
I actually got the bike back on Tuesday, but it was dark when I got home, so no pictures that day. Wednesday after work I snapped a couple of cell phone pix, but haven't had the time to edit them to the board's maximum size until tonight. (OK, I might have had time last night, but we went to a Bob ...

Why NON ABS? Is there a problem with Forza w/regular brakes?JetPilot wrote:
I have to assume that is the NON ABS model for that price... I would not buy the NON ABS Forza, even for 2999.

$2,999 http://www.trackntrail.net/Scooters-Hon ... 81002ca7ce The last time I saw this deal (Last May...same dealer), I went straight to the bank and got $3K, called up U-haul and rented a $15/day motorcycle trailer, and took a road trip to PA the very next day! Day trip from DC through Shenandoah National Park
I cut work yesterday and took a day trip to Big Meadows in Shenandoah National Park.
Lots of fall color, clear skies, and good twisties for riding.
Forza did great, exceeding all expectations.
I averaged 78.8MPG from start to finish.

The Forza is a hundred pounds heavier than my DR650. WHY??? Fact: DR650 is 370lbs wet. Hardly 100 pounds heavier Why heavier? Because the DR is a DS bike (and a pig-of one at that!), thats why! Although I must admit, the DR is a pig when it comes to DS bikes. :-) Street 425 pounds is easy...off roa...

Has anyone had their Forza seat fixed under warranty because it won't stay up?
Did it work well after it was fixed? Or did things get hosed up worse by Honda when they took things apart?

3 month update..... Over time, the box latch mechanism has gotten loose. It is a very thin spring-loaded sheet-metal latch. I commute every day, have backed into the wall (gently) a few times, and have loaded it up with 30 pounds a time or two. The latch does not take abuse well. I need to add a scr...
