Re: What do YOU set valve clearances to?
Purchased my PCX from a small town dealer that likely does not sell more than two a year. It is hard to imagine how they make any money servicing the limited number they sell, as stated above, removing the body panels is a pita.... Having a factory manual is a must for these rigs, wow. Both valves s...

Re: Front suspension upgrade
Finished up my emulator install two weeks ago while it was raining. The Sun has been out for the last two days and the temperature is above freezing. A test ride seemed in order. At 68, I place more value on comfort than performance. Given the PCX is a bit short on both and 3 inches of travel is not...

Re: Turn signal relay with a buzzer
As I just finished installing a turn signal buzzer on my 2015 PCX thought sharing some pictures might make is easier for someone else. The wiring has the potential to be pretty simple. My choice was to use a bridge rectifier that I was able to purchase on Amazon. Nothing special, just make sure it c...

Re: PCX horn replacement attempt
Well Mel, I just took a look at the Bad Boy horns. Guess the Fiamm horn appealed to me cause it is simple, loud(ish) and low cost. Given the effort, I would not suggest anyone follow in my footsteps. If I were to do it over, like you, I would keep the stock horn in the stock position and find a find...

Re: ANOTHER HORN UP GRADE
Have had my 2015 PCX now for 8 months. Since this time of year is cold and wet, figured I would move the scooter into the shop and do a little upgrading. This time around my plan is to install a louder horn, an audible directional signal indicator and fork emulators. Though I have a service manual, ...

Re: 2015 Safety RECALL
Just got a notice from Honda. Should you have purchased a Genuine Honda 2015 PCX trunk/Base there is a safety recall. Contact Honda... Guess this trunk/base has been offered since 2013 and was designed primarily for the PCX-150. Trunk may not attach and lock on base properly and fall off without wa...

Picture shows my modified National windshield. Bottom section accented with Krylon Fusion plastic paint for enhanced visibility. Polycarbonate grinding shield extension seam accentuated with reflective tape to conceal o.s.h.a. safety and certification text. Take care.

Re: New PCX150 owner......love it...but need info please
I'm 6'2" and purchased a National extra tall windshield and the high-tech trim molding that runs $15 per foot (ouch). The wind blast moved up but still hit me in the face/eyes. Of course with my helmet shield down this issue is addressed but when riding under 40mph I prefer having the helmet sh...

Re: 2015 seat modded for comfort
The Airhawk seat cushion (not shown) really made it softer. Removing the hump allowed me to move back just a bit and stretch my legs out. Initially I felt cramped and could not imagine riding more than an hour. Take care.

Re: 2015 seat modded for comfort
Thanks Homie. I am using a fairly new Cannon and have been posting pics on sites for many years. Seems now most many forums require that a picture be 'hosted' by a site like Photobucket. Pulling my pictures from Photobucket and doing a copy/paste to previous forums has worked fine. I am at a loss as...

2015 seat modded for comfort
trimmed PCX seat At 67, more and more I ask myself, why wait. A few weeks ago I purchased a new 2015 PCX 150. A very nice machine but had not ridden far before asking myself how this seat could be an improvement over the 2013. Am 6'2" and seem pretty balanced between leg and torso. Seat seems h...

Re: PCX125 buzzing sound, very annoying
Since my scooter only has 85 miles on it and I have plenty of time, decided to do some checking/testing. There have been a number of things mentioned that certainly have the potential of making noise and two were pretty easy for me to check. Removed the license plate frame: http://i267.photobucket.c...

Re: PCX125 buzzing sound, very annoying
New member here. Picked up my new 2015 PCX 150f last week (6/11/2016). During my ride home from the dealership I heard the noise. Thought it might be that on a new engine they left the valves a little loose, but then, no noise on deceleration. As mentioned in this thread multiple times, the noise is...
