Re: Got my PCX a naked brother
I've been looking at 300 to 400cc machines lately to downsize from my current sport bike. I'm not rushing out to buy one right now but would like to sell/trade my old KLR 650 and Bandit 1200 for a more manageable and lightweight newer bike. I'm satisfied with my scooters but would still like to hav...

Re: PCX 50,000 kms Oil Change (Fully synth)
Didn't say it was the first time Iv'e changed it. Changed my belt and clutch pads at 25k, also Iv'e alternatively tried using an aftermarket bowl and rollers in between. But at 50,000 kms, I bought an entire set and changed everything there. Bowl, rollers, belt, clutch set i ncluding engine oil and ...

Re: Greetings from Bangkok, Thailand
I'm quite aware of how to do emergency braking/progressive braking, been riding 20 years and it's already embedded in my brain (or so i thought), but sometimes there's this human factor that is unavoidable in surprising fight or flight situations that learning emergency braking deliberately can't si...

Re: Greetings from Bangkok, Thailand
Glad to see youre enjoying your PCX. Mine's currently at 51,000 kms. Perfect for BKK's traffic and a few stretch of open roads sometimes. I just wish it has ABS otherwise all else is good with this little scooter.

Re: The New Honda ADV150 has arrived !
Iv'e been complaining of the PCX lack of ABS for a few years now, crashing it last week due to a rear wheel locking is the straw that broke the camel's back for me. Glad you're OK and your "get off" wasn't a major disaster in your life. When I hear about others riding experiences, good or...

Re: The New Honda ADV150 has arrived !
Awesome! I'm planning to get the 300 for the ABS but this seems more efficient in BKK's traffic. Locked my PCX rear brake last week and broke some side fairings. Repairs ongoing and I'm planning to get a scoot with an ABS. Having ridden both the new 300 Forza and the X Max 300 - i would conclude th...

PCX 50,000 kms Oil Change (Fully synth)
78626863_2887454494620798_1635955345148870656_o.jpg When my PCX reached 50,000 kms, I decided to use Fully synthetic coupled with the gear oil, for the first time. And what a difference it made, the engine revs smoother and more quiet. I wished I started using Fully Synth sooner. motul.jpg Although...

Re: Waiting Impatiently for My PCX Hybrid
Price is similar to an ADV150, which is both disc brakes and ABS in comparison.
A colleague is riding a hybrid PCX here for months now, but I wasn't able to ask him about the performance.
I can't wait for your review...

My vote goes to getting that license first.
Then maybe a Forza after that.

Great photos. Thailand remains the same, it's either too hot or it's raining cats and dogs the next day.

Re: Got my PCX a naked brother
yeah, im not so concerned about the topend as I don't often have clear roads here in BKK. Besides, the legal speed limit here is 80kph. One thing I forgot to mention is that the mirrors are buzzing slightly at speeds above 100kph that it's a little annoying. It's not hard to see the cars behind but ...

After a more than a week of use, I'll try to give an honest user review. Performance-wise, given that ti's a single, this little 250 is quick at the st...

Re: Got my PCX a naked brother
@Old Grinner Thank you for the reminder. Years of owning a scooter, I almost forgot about lubricating chains. I haven't done any lubrication after washing yet. I'm off to the store to buy some lube later. Currently using the PCX as I have just installed entire new drive parts as part of my 50,000 km...

Re: How to hit rev limiter with 13 gram rollers? Add windscr
My 2016 will go 73 mph on a long stretch but I weigh only approx 150 lbs. Didn't try ducking though.
Seriously, the PCX already feels unstable at that speed that I'm never really doing it anymore.

ac133737b4f9dc1b61a4c8ac5150646e.jpg I'll be getting something like this, not big enough but I have the PCX if I need to carry more stuff. I figure a givi would defeat the purpose of a naked bike.. I hate the fact that we can't stop finding things that we need for our bikes. I now feel like I need ...
