Re: Whoops Lesson Learned

Keep away any oily substance on parts that needs friction to operate properly (seats, tires, brakes) It's and odd thing about the saddle on a sport bike, and I'm not sure how others use the saddle to handle turns and lane changes but for me personally I don't want a tacky seat. I do put things that...

@outlander

Your PCX is designed for a very long travel? That's just a lot of stuff to carry on a ride, methinks.

Re: Leaving suspension as is

I'm keeping mine in it's stock suspension. I'm only 143 pounds and I even haven't felt it hits bottom when my wife is riding as a passenger (total of 265 pounds).

Re: FIXED MY HARD STARTING PROBLEM!!!

Based on my calculations, if you follow the service manual and change oil, coolant frequently the pcx engine should last over 60000km without losing much power and compression. I have just rebuilt one pcx engine at 62k km and everything looks ok, not as good as new but you can get by. The pcx engin...

Re: FIXED MY HARD STARTING PROBLEM!!!

Absolutely! One should keep all the stock engine parts when upgrading because someday you'll get tired of it and want to bring everything back to stock. After three years of using a customized camshaft and a big carburetor on my small 110cc yamaha, I finally got tired of the speed that I install all...

Re: New member to the family

even an independent site in Thai claims the 2016 is 149cc

Probably why it's a little slower and maybe better in gas mileage? Ive got average of 55 kms/L (129mpgUS) (155mpg) - based on my fuel gauge

Re: When the fuel gauge starts to blink..

So I refilled and it took 7.4 liters to got it full again, I got the 2016 one (LED?). Full tank is 8L.

When the fuel gauge starts to blink..

So I was running late this morning and suddenly my fuel gauge indicator started to blink, I figure I still have approx 20 kms (12.43 miles) to go before reaching my workplace, so I decided that i don't have enough time to stop for gas and went straight to work. Luckily I made it without running out ...
