Re: New PCX150 owner......love it...but need info please

Thanks for writing and sharing what you did. I have been mulling over just exactly what to do myself and I have purchased a piece of polycarbonate to cut out a shield extension piece and temporarily attach it to my existing Honda extended shield and experiment with how much additional height I need ...

Re: New PCX150 owner......love it...but need info please

Well, here is a bummer for me. I ordered the nice shocks from Bikerbitz that Glen had put on his bike. I get an email the other day from Heiko from Bikerbitz telling me that the postal system will no longer send shocks through the mail and I will have to use Fedex that will cost me $100 for a pair o...

Re: New PCX150 owner......love it...but need info please

Different helmet shapes fit different head shapes. Watch pros talking how to get proper fit or trust your salesman. Buy the best full face helmet you can afford after wearing it for 20 mins around the store. Hurts in the store? will drive you mad on road. Darn near every brand fits differently. ......

Re: New PCX150 owner......love it...but need info please

Hasbro, Just a note, the link you listed for the body panels is for the earlier version PCX150 (see the seat hump?). They made the matte black for the 2015 and up models, but it will cost you another C-note to get them. I'd hate for you to get a set of panels that don't fit. Have fun kitting out yo...

Re: New PCX150 owner......love it...but need info please

Our seats are lower and this does cause a problem with storage of the helmet. We bought tailboxes to solve that problem too. With a custom seat you shouldn't have a problem with touching the ground. The tall Givi windshield will take care of wind. Mel, I don't plan to buy a tailbox to store my helm...

Re: New PCX150 owner......love it...but need info please

I used their post system , was not much 15 bucks I think took 6 weeks Thanks Glen, I'm just about to pull the trigger on the shocks, and a new seat #18. What do you think about a matt black plastic set..........? https://bikerzbits.com/honda-pcx-matte-version-plastic.html I wonder if it would scuff...

Glen, which shipping service did you use from bikerzbits? About how much to ship a seat?
Thank you,

Re: New PCX today!

Yup, I Have a shop manual, not touching powertrain, other than the sliders. Glen, I have been slowly digesting your mods and add ons..........WOW! Your end result looks nothing less than sexy and absolutely foxy, the only two words I could think of that loosely translate to 'outstanding" I wil...

Re: New PCX150 owner......love it...but need info please

[quote= I have a full face helmet, so I don't know what the wind feels like without at normal operating speeds. My windscreen experience is that you will need a tall screen, at least, if you want to kill the wind in the face and the wind noise. I'm 5'8", I tried a National Cycle short screen h...

Re: New PCX150 owner......love it...but need info please

As for the seat: I ended up ordering two seats from Bikerbits, the flat one and the more sculpted one. Initially, I hated the sculpted one (forget the number for the moment) but after I started riding with better posture (i.e. sitting up a bit higher, taking the pressure off shoulders and knees) th...

Re: New PCX150 owner......love it...but need info please

Doh!....one more question for now that is. I've seen some nice looking after market seats that appear to be a bit more comfortable along with the rear rider back support option. Does anyone have after market seats info they would share?

Re: New PCX150 owner......love it...but need info please

Mel, Easy Rider, Paul, and any who may choose to reply in the future......I really appreciate you taking the time to share your knowledge and experiences. It is important for a 'newbie' (me) to garner as much info as he/she can before they run out and spend a lot of money on products that don't give...

Re: New PCX150 owner......love it...but need info please

I'm having fun researching new items and the such. I did an experiment and crouched down a little and if the current windshield hits just below my eye level, all is quiet and wonderful. I notice the Givi narrows a lot at the top while the National comes in three lengths. The tall one looks rather si...

New PCX150 owner......love it...but need info please

Hi, Just recently upgraded from a Metropolitan scooter to a 2015 PCX150. I love it, but like any kid with a new toy I want to know if I can tinker with it performance wise and also cosmetic wise. Can someone direct me to where I might be able to purchase additional body pieces to change the appearan...
