Re: She is back in shape!
I have replaced the shocks on my PCX and my Xmax with YSS’s....and it is not just a pipe dream that they work. Don't buy a pair just ‘cause they “look good”...that’s ridiculous. They make a HUGE difference over speed bumps and railroad tracks, both we have in total abundance down here in Florida… Ho...

Re: i have no parking brake
The 2020 is different. Every thing to set the parking brake is on the left handbrake, which personally I haven’t seen before, maybe somewhere knows of this set up. Did Honda relocate yours to the left hand brake?

I had a 2017 and the parking brake was as discussed, round knob that you pull to set the brake. The 2020 is different however. Every thing to set the brake is on the left handbrake, which personally I haven’t seen before, maybe somewhere knows of this set up.

Re: LIGHTS
For the headlight I just drilled the appropriate holes for the corresponding light bulbs and installed the headlight harness from the UK model. As for turn signal LED retrofit, I bought the Amber LED lights on ebay of the appropriate socket type. I also used an LED compatible flasher relay from eba...

Have you tried the other brake lever to start? I switched to the right brake lever to start the engine with no problems.

Agree totally.iceman wrote:Out of interest, if the oil is not leaking away or burning off but you lose large amounts - why would the fuel pump be the culprit (just wondering from a tech perspective how that works)

Re: Service manual (don't confuse with user manual)
I don't understand why people ask for free stuff that is illegal to post. Why not buy the OEM service manual? You paid a few thousand to buy the scooter, why not pay for the manual? I understand we all want to save on expenses. I gues being in IT for over 24 years taught me illegal downloads are not...

That's not going to happen  Can you imagine whilst you are swerving to avoid the cross traffic that didn't see you the bike puts on the brakes all by itself. That city safety stuff is nice on cars and always freaks me out when I pull up too fast on my garage door before its fully open, but I ...

Re: spring checklist
If you warmed & cooled the engine over winter (never do it) condensation in the crankcase, dump the oil. Get that old stabilized fuel burned off completely and put some fresh 87 octane. Good point about using up last year's tankful and getting a new fresh supply of fuel. . . Condensation will d...

Re: Oil Grade and Viscosity, Which one best?
I used Dino oil for my first oil change and noticed my MPG decreased. It was 10w-40 as 10-w30 is hard to find where I live.

Re: Rear View Mirror Visibility
I'm with Rickjds . I'm 5' 9-1/2" & 180 lbs. I never had any trouble seeing behind/beside with the stock mirrors. I only ride down to about 32°F on the scoot & I prefer several thin layers in cold weather, so my jackets aren't particularly bulky. When I installed the OEM Honda tall wind...

My advice, get a name brand one. I had a cheap one I bought from Walgreens and not only did it stop charging (worked fine for months), it started to melt. Spend the money for a name brand one.

Re: About to buy a 2015 PCX 150.
I'm in Hawaii and took it on the freeway once, very short ride. After 50 mph, I felt I was being blown around by the wind gusts here. Very scary so I no longer drive on the freeways.

Re: Best trip average km/l or mpg
I found using non ethonal gas improved my mpg grately in three of my cars. I have been using non ethonal gas in my PCX and is doing well. Improved mpg in my cars and no worries of ethonal ruining my fuel lines. I didn't believe tha it would improve my mpg, but in my Acura TL, Toyota RAV4 and now my ...

Re: PCX150 Rear Suspension
I find the suspension stiff and feel all bumps in the road. The PCX is very light and if it was heavier, I believe the ride would be smoother if Honda upgraded the suspension for the hevier weight. I wish it had more low end power but not ready to change out the variator due to funds at the moment b...
