Re: Collision insurance
I use to live in Seattle, the rain was your unwanted friend. God it was always so wet, muddy, and gray half the year. Hated it, only miss the parents up there.
Its get very cold where I live in Winter but the sun helps your mood.

Collision insurance
Do you PCX guys with a older PCX even carry collision. Collision pays when you damage your own ride, not some idiot who hit you. I am thinking of dropping it with my 500 deductible cause its pretty hard to do damage with a bike with only 11.5 HP :geek: . I don't ride when is raining unless I get cau...

Re: my pcx hates long hills
I am at 135, the 125 does fine on hills. When they rate the HP of the bike what weight do Honda think the average rider is? If a rider weighs 90 pounds does it add one HP?

Re: rideing the pcx in the rain?
Not a big fan of riding scooters in the rain due to weight distribution of scooters in general. There is just not enough weight on the front end like a motorcycle which I gives me confidence in the rain cause the weight is much more 50/50 front and back.

Re: 2017 Model Forza, Will it exist in the USA ???
The Yamaha Majesty is gone too in the USA, makes me wonder about this. I think its because cities are getting more crowded in USA and riders in the city want a lighter more compact ride. The Majesty had not been redone in over 10 years! I had a 2007 model, wonderful hwy freeway interstate ride.

Re: I need your advice please
Keep your 2011 125, its worth hardly anything in NADA or Blue Book Value.
Just add a freeway capable scooter in the price range of $2500-3000 like a 400 Burgman, Yamaha Majesty. They lose tremendous value no matter the miles it seems.

Re: What is your cage?
Best car I've ever had was a 2006 Scion xB. 35 mpg everywhere. Nothing had more headroom than these 1st generation xBs. Plenty of glass. Big rear seating area. Underside stayed cleaner and more rust free than any car I've been under. ABS & traction control standard on all of them. Inexpensive t...

Re: Which Commuter Scooter ?
I would simply go with which one if most fun to ride, I've tested some scooters which to me " suck". Hey no offense to owners of these scooters but they don't work for me feel wise, just either boring or feels like a boat on 2 wheels. They are the Yamaha SMAX and Forza 300. I guess you can...

Re: What is your cage?
2009 Cube the base model. Its got everything I need cruise, Power windows and locks, AC. Pros- nothing today is like it, feels sooooo spacious, tall people car, very easy to get in out of, soft ride, easy to park, very wide front seats, armrest. Cons- 25mpg overall, not sporty handling but who buys ...

Re: 2017 Model Forza, Will it exist in the USA ???
Went for a test ride on a Forza. Dealer had a blow out on a new 2014 and willing to give me 200 dollars less than what I paid for on the 125 that I got 2 months ago. I passed on it after a test ride, I knew it was heavy and wide but that " feel" was not there. Did not feel agile to me,well...

Re: what should i upgrade to?
Sounds like you are on a budget since you stated Rebel or Ninja 300. I use to ride a Yamaha R3, plenty of power for the freeway. I never once said its too slow. 4999 MSRP.
I personally prefer small motors since they rev faster. The Ninja 300 motor is a toy to rev up and down.

Yeah, the light weight of the PCX is a big benefit for thieves. 2 little guys can lift it very fast in the back of a van.

Re: New Suzuki Burgman 200 and 400
The motor in the 200 is a gem, ridden a Forza for comparison. The Forza was milder in reaction very linear powerband, the 200 motor is like a 600cc sportbike motor, nothing till you hit the middle of the tach and it goes very quick to me. The rest the Burgman 200 is just everything middle of the roa...
