Re: Red Honda pcx stolen
Quick update... Police have found the bike dumped about a mile away, as it's been in the elements for over 2 weeks there's no forensic evidence. The thieves have ripped the front plastics off and attempted to hot wire the bike with no success! Hetty is a write off. Managed to get an acceptable offe...

Re: Red Honda pcx stolen
How about some details, to know what happened, figure out how the theives were confident enough to do this wihtout getting caught, and how others here can avoid the same fate... 1. What time was it stolen ??? How long were you parked there ? 2. Was it quickly picked up and put into a van ? 3. How fa...

Re: 2016 pcx150 warm up question
As I would have been if you hadn't warmed it up. Funny, I recall seeing a person on here with score marks along his piston skirt and blowby past the oil scrapers. In addition the clear tube at the end of his air box was disgusting and full of oil which I'm sure you know what that means... ENGINE WA...

Re: Tire Sealant?
Anyone use Ride-On tire balancer and sealant? Or Slime? Recommend one or the other or no? Thanks I have been wondering how this works as well ??? Right now I carry a plug kit, but if this stuff worked, and did not mess up the wheel balance, etc, it would be great... It does sound to good to be true...

Here's a question Mike...have you been on Alligator Alley (see below: 75/93) with yer scoot or any bike? That's a straight-away ride over to Naples. I think I recall only one gas station along the way, hmm..closer to the Miami side. Are there more stations now? image.jpeg Thanks for adding your loc...

What does it mean for the first 300 miles avoid full throttle starts and rapid acceleration and ride conservatively You obviously did not READ the responses to this thread. This is is a perfect example of why I said exactly what I did in bold in the first line of my post, just 2 posts prior to your...

Re: U.S. Warranty
Stretching miles at a steady 55-63 will get tiring and that ain't Fun to "Me." That screams out... buy a bigger bike!! (Not happening yet) That is exactly why I am getting a Honda Forza... The PCX 150 is just not fast enough to use on the highway. I like a scooter to get out of town and r...

Re: 2016 pcx150 warm up question
Mike, I'll say it again, you are way overthinking this. Turn on the ignition, start the bike, strap up your helmet, drive off. NO NO NO !!!!! That is downright dangerous advice... There is a 187 item checklist you MUST do each time before you ride the scooter, and that is only after you have taken ...

Re: U.S. Warranty
Look REAL HARD at the Honda Forza ABS. It is faster, more comfortable, and much better unless you live in downtown New York City.... The ABS will pay for itself in the first accident it prevents... There is a really good reason ABS has been REQUIRED on cars for many years now, it is even more of a s...

MOST PEOPLE ARE NOT SMART ENOUGH TO UNLEARN SOMETHING... People are dumb, will never let go of preconceptions, and not honest enough to ever admit they got anything wrong... BUT, if you are the exception to this rule, read this article on break in. Most people do the below break in procedure not be...

Re: Hearing Impaired & Scooters
It's not just about high speed or noise of the bike (exhaust, engine or other low freq sounds in town), and some PCX's are quieter than others - my PCX has always been noisier than others I see around town, and wearing ear plugs makes it more enjoyable a ride without cutting out needed sounds. Me, ...

Re: Speed ?
I am holding out to see if there will be an improved 2017 model FORZA. Extremely unlikely. The 2016 major trade shows have come and gone and no such scooter has been shown. Rumours on the net are just that, rumours. Hi GN2, I have to agree, Extremely unlikely. But given that it is late November, I ...

Re: Hearing Impaired & Scooters
Some hearing loss is gained riding at 30mph with poor fitting helmets due to high pitch squeel (but that is just a small part of the hearing band over prolonged periods of time - takes less than a few minutes to lose part of your hearing without protection at 100mph+!) < official figures, not mine ...

Re: 2017 Model Forza, Will it exist in the USA ???
Having something somewhere on the net really means little, at the moment until I see something concrete I wouldn't get to excited. Hi Embattle, You are very right... I certainly would not put any money on there being a 2017 model, people post pure #%*&# on the net all the time. I will just wait...

They are all pretty pokey for the most part in comparison to their motorcycle counterparts. If I want to go fast, I hop on my GSXS-1000. OMG, Even an F-16 fighter jet feel slow compared to the GSXS-1000.... That just ruins you for anything else. I looked at the S-Max, but it does not have ABS, that...

Re: Tire sealants
Everyone, Does RIDE ON really balance the tire ??? Are there any downsides to using it ? I sure would like to see more rider reports on this. I find it interesting, but have heard bad things about tire sealants in the past, so I do not want to jump into this to quickly and ruin a tire and have to cl...
