Mel, yes I know it's the trim. As I said it's the rubber on that trim making the noise.

Re: Givi 323DT and Oxford rainseal mitts
Hi Scott, I purchased the 323dt from Revzilla. Their website shows it out of stock, but I called and they actually had stock in one of their warehouses. I got the install kit as well, same story. I think they might have a few more, you will have to call them to find out. It is a great windshield. Wi...

Sorry, this is only in jest .... but your username would give me hesitation in riding pillion with you. ;) I do like it though. :) I will try to explain my username. My name is Tom, I am short in stature. I used to ride/race motocross. MX bikes are very tall, lots of suspension. I would usual...

Re: Early am ride
That does look cold...sitting out there in that cold lot. I commuted on my scooters year round in Ohio if clear roads, all temps. (+3°F one morning) At 5:30am. For 3 yrs boss let me park it out of the way in a heated warehouse. ..then new boss went to the new director....and my pristine, non leakin...

5:15 AM ouch- way too much of a hibernator to see that time of day.Looks quiet though. I guess, I am a morning person. Last summer, I would commute to work by bicycle. I start at 0430, so I would leave the house by 0300. :ugeek: I am lucky we have showers at work. We had a real warm and humid summe...

Thanks Daguang! Yes, I see it's 28°F in Beijing right now. Quite a bit cooler than Chicago.Daguang wrote:beautiful. almost as cold as Beijing now

As long as it's dry, the cold isn't that big a deal. Any ice or snow and salt, then I drive my Tacoma.

Re: Early am ride
Hey buddy, The picture was taken at about 5:15 in the morning. 34° and damp out. No, that isn't salt, just worn asphalt. I have about a 12 mile commute to work. We haven't had any snow yet. Actually, it has been real nice winter, (I hate that word) so far. Any day I can ride, is a great day! :D Cheers

Givi 323DT and Oxford rainseal mitts
I fitted my new Givi screen today. Also my Oxford rainseal mitts. I rode about 12 miles today around the neighborhood. Givi screen squeaks alot over bumps, but it really directs the wind up and around me. The Oxford mitts are real nice too. It is kind of hard to turn on the turn signals with my heav...

Re: PCX125 Windscreen and handlebar muffs together?
I have the Honda oem tall windscreen and the Oxford rainseal mitts. The Oxford mitts seem larger than the tucano mitts. I have no clearance issues with my setup.
I do have a Givi tall screen as well. I haven't installed it yet, but, I don't think there will be a problem with my Oxford mitts.

Re: U.S. Warranty
If you go to Honda's website you will see the PCX warranty information. The PCX has a one year unlimited mileage transferable warranty. If that's not good enough, you should just buy a Toyota.

Re: i think cars are cheaper to use
I pretty much ride my PCX full throttle everywhere I go.
It runs like a Swiss watch. Every beat of the engine is exactly the same. It is an amazing thing. I love my bike!
Do I expect it to run 100,000 miles? NO!

Re: locked key
Someone else did this recently and said they ripped their seat off. Another person said you could pry the seat up slightly and fish out the key with something, coat hanger maybe?
Good luck.

I forgot to add, I cleaned the transmission housing and cover. It had lots of belt dust and grime, very sticky. I just used some rags and compressed air to get all the dust out.

Re: Greasing Clutch Bearing
I greased my bearings yesterday. My bike has done only 1200 miles. The bearings weren't making noise, I just wanted to check them. They didn't have very much grease.
I just used the grease I had on hand, moly grease for auto steering components.
