Re: Strawberry looking oil in final gear
Honda puts engine oil in final gear as standard. UK dealers (to my knowledge) use Castrol and that is redish itself so maybe this would go pink milkshake looking if contaminated with water. But I can't personally see water getting inside by it self. Unless dealer left some other liquid in there when...

Re: Speedo Sensor Problem
Could someone please help or advise. Looking at electric diagram in this topic http://www.hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=771 we have 3 wires pink/green goes from sensor to clocks so easy to bell out and check for continuity but the other two are going to few places and don't really know how t...

Re: Strawberry looking oil in final gear
I've put Castrol 10W40 back in and one day next week will drain it again so it will have the same trip done the only difference will be less miles done on oil in total but hopefully it will be normal this time.

Strawberry looking oil in final gear
Bike that i service with my brother in law. Maybe not a PCX but still share a lot of parts. Honda SH125 ABS. Or as we call it ”goat” lol. Now we've done 15k miles service on it last night: -valves very within spec (wish doing valves on PCX was so easy, few screws out and head's there) -spark plug -a...

Re: Speedo Sensor Problem
As Tony was saying we've checked two more sensors, different set of clocks and fuse. His PCX being v1 has speedo sensor cables with extra connector just before throttle body (my v3 has cables going straight into the loom) it all looked fine, no signs of corrosion inside terminals. Shame I don't have...

Re: Anybody had a stuck on swingarm?
Thought bit of an update. Tony came to me last weekend and it took both of us putting a lot of force using two 3foot long crowbars between wheel and swingarm but it gave in in the end. There was tiny bit of rust holding wheel bearing onto the wheel shaft but enough for it to feel as it was welded on...

Re: Life of my baby
I run mine hard wired onto side lights so so seperate switches. I prefer them on all the time. This only draw 3W per light or maybe even per pair as I can't remember now. You might have a problem trying to put normal halogen lights on new PCX electrical system, I can't see it running them. But let m...

If you got the exhaust off, wheel nut and washer off, two 14mm bolts at the front of swingarm off and it still doesnt wonna come off jump on your bike (I know its raining mate) and come over to me in Thornton Thornton heath, I have nice 2/3 arm bigish bearing puller that will have it off in no time.

Re: Prep for a 2600km trip on a 2016 PCX150
Honda advise to change oil every 4000km Belt is due for changing after 24000km spark plug every 8000km air filter every 12000km Unless you're planning on doing 2600km in one hit you'll be fine, I would only suggest to take small tyre puncture repair kit with you and smallest 12V air compressor if go...

Did yours also used to smell after wrapping? If so for how long mate. I can now smell that burning in or bedding in every time I stop at lights for longer than 2sec lol
