I think I'm going to rent a motorcycle for a couple of days. If the constant shifting and the lack of storage bother me enough, I'll try to get this bug out of my system to buy a bigger bike and I'll stick with my little Scarlet (Forza).

I'd take the battery to an auto parts store, one that does free battery checks. They'll tell you if you have a dead cell in the battery.
The only time my battery died was when I left it alone for six days. But after jumping it, it's been flawless.
It's only three months old though.
