Re: When is it time to move up to a Big Boy Bike?
I think I'm going to rent a motorcycle for a couple of days. If the constant shifting and the lack of storage bother me enough, I'll try to get this bug out of my system to buy a bigger bike and I'll stick with my little Scarlet (Forza).

Re: When is it time to move up to a Big Boy Bike?
I'm in Love! I just went and looked at a bunch of bikes and made the mistake of sitting on a Triumph Bonneville T120. That thing felt like butter under my butt, it was so comfortable. But then I got on my Forza to ride home and wondered how I could ever give it up. Thanks for the input about the Har...

When is it time to move up to a Big Boy Bike?
I have some questions for the motorcycle riders here but I'm looking for input from anyone who has a comment, whether it be nice, mean or sarcastic. My Main Question (and you can skip the rest of the information below if you want): If I moved up to a motorcycle from my Forza 300, would the bumpy rid...

Re: Forza weight to power
I ride about 50/50 freeway and city streets in Los Angeles. At maximum freeway speeds, I choose to move over to the number two lane rather than trying to keep up with the 80 MPH fast lane cagers. The little scoot will go 80+ but it's pretty uncomfortable. I always wear earplugs so it's not the noise...

Re: go pro camera
Keep talking... I'm considering buying two Mobius camera's as a gift. But, obvious question's (to me) come to mind. For Doug, do you leave your camera's in their front and rear position's while your vehicle is parked outside your home, or while at work or even in and out shopping? Or do you dismoun...

Re: Battery life on the 300? (or something else)
I had an old bike one time that did the exact same thing. I thought the battery was dead, but looked at the terminals and there was very light corrosion on the cable connector, I cleaned up both terminals, reattached, and never had a problem again. I didn't even think of the terminals. That's the f...

Re: Battery life on the 300? (or something else)
I'd take the battery to an auto parts store, one that does free battery checks. They'll tell you if you have a dead cell in the battery.
The only time my battery died was when I left it alone for six days. But after jumping it, it's been flawless.
It's only three months old though.

Re: Burgman 200 or Modded 125
I've put 3,500+ miles on my new Forza 300 (279cc) in three months both on freeway and on streets in Los Angeles and I am already looking for a bigger scooter. Whatever you've read about people 'passing' other traffic at freeway speeds with a 200cc bike, ummmm, read a little more. At 65 MPH, it takes...

Re: Hearing Impaired & Scooters
Piano Tuner ???? I did not even know that profession existed anymore, that profession seems almost as obsolete as Vacuum Tube tester / replacer... Pianos are so outdated, the same instrument can now be built electronically better and more capable in every way, and never looses its tune. How often d...

Re: Hearing Impaired & Scooters
There's some good info here. Thank you all. I'm a piano tuner here in Los Angeles and definitely notice the ringing in my ears when I get off my little Scarlet. I have good ear plugs in my tool bag for tuning extra LOUD pianos. Those plugs are going in my scooter and I'll be placing the cheap foam p...
