Re: trip down south on the PCX150
Sights set on a CRF250L in a few months. I took the poor scooter through it cause it's all I had. I love getting dirty and I can't help it. No real regrets. I bought a new centrestand spring for $4. It's still muddy after washing it though. You'se should've seen the puddles I pushed this through.. I...

Re: trip down south on the PCX150
poor scooter took a thrashing. we hit some 4wd tracks. lost the centre stand spring so it was zip tied to the drive case to keep up.
the top box also fell off after hitting a huge pot hole, but luckily the rack is okay.
i'm probably gonna get a proper dirtbike later this year.. WR250F?

trip down south on the PCX150
packed up the scoot, fully loaded. leaving early tomorrow morning with a couple mates.
The Chinese 51L topbox on the back is a treat. fits all the cooking equipment including a full size pan and pots, gas cooker plus backpack with shoes etc.
I like to lean back on all the gear, hence two pillows

Re: Prep for a 2600km trip on a 2016 PCX150
Bought the scoot new 3 months ago. Thanks for the advice. Everything probably is fine but I'll pop the CVT cover cause there's probably some crap I could wipe off. I'll also look into greasing the driven bearings if there's time. BTW I checked the valves for the first time at 4000km (skipped 1000km)...

Prep for a 2600km trip on a 2016 PCX150
I'm riding to Broken Hill from Sydney on my 2016 PCX150 with 6000km. The trip is 2600km return. Done oil changes and valve clearance check. I'll probably do another oil change before I leave. Not yet worked on a scooter drive system though. Should I have a look down there or is it all good? It sound...

Re: My pcx 2016 dyno stock vs malossi variator
great insight. does the malossi kit make the scoot better on the freeway? does it sacrifice anything - fuel consumption, belt wear etc?

Re: What do YOU set valve clearances to?
wow. 15 mins is very quick. i dont think its possible to do removal on a pcx in less than an hour.
i feel a great sense of achievement and relief checking the valves, especially after skipping it at the first service.

Re: What do YOU set valve clearances to?
Cheers for the info. I left the clearances as is and figure I'll do it again later if it sounds bad. Will be interesting to see how they fare in some thousand km. The plastics took a loong time to get off. especially as its my first time. watched some youtube during removal, took about 3hrs. snapped...

What do YOU set valve clearances to?
I checked my clearances for the first time at 4000 km. They were both a little tight but still good: IN .09mm EX .23 I have set them to: IN .10 (exact) EX .26 (loose end) I havent put the tupperware back on, will in a couple hours. Should I get both valves exact or slightly loose? I dont want to che...

Re: PCX LOVER
Full licence. I'm keen on a few bikes bigger bikes - CB500F, CB650F, er6n but I think I'll get another dirtbike first. Owned a brand new CF Moto 150NK for about two months. Hated that bike. Very harsh fuel injection. I ponder about the newer 650/400. Would love to test ride them. Sometimes you only ...

PCX LOVER
Hi everyone thought i should introduce myself. I've been riding sports bikes, nakeds, motards and dirt bikes for 6 years. Never thought I'd get a scooter but I love it. I can just about live out of it with all the storage and 12v socket. I bought it brand new and the dealer says they will honour the...
