Re: Can the seat be replaced or lowered on a PCX 150 2017
Thanks, everyone for your thoughts and answers. My mechanic said the bike could not be lowered. I mentioned what Mel46 did, however, I cannot find anyone around me who can or wants to do it. :( I am 5'1 3/4 inches. Thanks for the tall boot link when I need new boots I will check it out. I have been ...

2017 PCX 150 ignition issues.
I had two keys that came with the bike. One of the keys stopped working it barely goes into the barrel and then will not turn. So far the other key is working, however, it was the key that had the little plate with the parts number. I did not know that while I was riding part of the key chain fell o...

Re: First boo boo
Boo boos are common and easy to come by, so might want to get an adequate paint supply that is correct for your year and model.First resource would be your dealership but you can also contact these companies by phone or email and perhaps they can get some made for you as well . The paint code is mo...

Re: 600 miles service check up
You're in the prime of life! I'm 193 most days (if the saying "you're as old as you feel" is correct) - other days about 57 - not too far behind you. I do accept that doing bike maintenance just isn't realistic due to some people's circumstances though. "I just want to offer my condol...

Re: Apple will block texting....
Apple plans to block texting from any moving vehicle :o o_O :D 8) IT'S ABOUT TIME !!!!!!!!!!! DAM RIGHT! That's great , however, they are not going far enough. Yesterday a woman almost hit me because she was so busy talking on the dang phone when she pulled out into my lane. I see people here in So...

Re: 600 miles service check up
13,000 miles in, just over 3 yr's and I've only paid for the 1st 600 mile service (cost me £85 for an oil change!). Since then I've changed the oil twice, final drive oil once (it looked fine), and last week changed the front pads (£12 delivered from Ebay). My LED PCX suffers from the driven clutch...

Re: 600 miles service check up
I've worked on all of my bikes from my first *Honda Ruckus* to the biggest, *Harley RG* I will be honest, the plastics are the thing that scare me the most. Ha! Not to worry, buy a cheap set of "Trim Fastener & Molding Removal Tools" and watch Homie's video all the way thru. The...

"(or use a FOBO tyre pressure monitor to "beam" them to your smartphone). What is a FOBO tyre pressure monitor, please? Can I get them at any bike store? I appreciate the novel being educated always helps. "Sorry this is such a novel - but I thought a bit of an education (accordi...

Re: 600 miles service check up
You have to keep it in a bit of perspective. The 600 mile check is standard in the industry , more or less. These bikes are sold all over the world in some countries in which the gasoline they use and is about 45 octane, they never get serviced , and they still run forever. These bikes simply aren'...

Re: 600 miles service check up
The list of things to do is in the user manual. On a new bike it's mostly just "change the oil" and "check this, check that" - with the exception of valve clearances that mean a LOT of panels need to be removed for access. Extended warranties are a business tactic to get more mo...

Re: 600 miles service check up
I would not want to assume you don't tool your vehicles as we have seen quit competent female mechanics in here before. If you are mechanically incline everything you need to keep up the service intervals on your new scoot are found in this forum... less the tools. I can link you to oil change vide...

Can the seat be replaced or lowered on a PCX 150 2017
The seat is too high for me. We though higher boots would help but they did not. I have laid the bike down and scratched up 3 panels and broke the mirror. I called to see about a trade in , however, I am going to lose too much money. I bought the extended warranty, the theft insurance and a bigger w...

Re: Apple will block texting....
Finally! Countless lives will be saved and injuries will be reduced. . .. ;) Too bad for public transports, they will just have to call it in old school. Texting and driving has become a scofflaw for non compliant people. So, on the days I am going somewhere I can't use my scooter and use the troll...

Can I get a smaller seat or what are my options?
I have been riding around 14 months. In November my daughter ran over my Yamaha Vino 125 and totaled it. 3 weeks later I got a pay out from my insurance , took a loan and bought a 2017 PCX 150 Blue with a bigger windshield and the 5 year extended warranty and the 4 year theft package. My bike has 29...
