If the mother in law comes around, hey great opportunity, go grease the centre stand. Got an important event in you're life you should be spending all of you're time preparing for like a wedding or birth of a child. Forget about it, go grease you're centre stand.... I found out the hard way, had to ...

Re: Front brake pistons - how free of stiff is normal?
My pcx is a 2016 model and has done 12,000 miles. I changed my pads in the winter having to push the pistons with a lot of force. By Easter one pad was down to the metal after 2000 miles. I decided to strip and clean the caliper. I thought the piston pots and seals would need replacing but what I th...

Re: Starting age
I bought mine at 31. 32 now. Would love a motorcycle also, but scooter has to be primary mode of transport. Simple to use stores lots under seat, cheap as chips to run. Ideal garage would contain Yamaha xmax 300 and a triumph speed triple. With fuel prices so high here in the uk, I cannot justify th...

Re: what do you think about a fitted bed sheet for a cover?
I would kill a cow, skin it, keeping the head in place. Get some nice taxidermy work done. Drape finished covering over the PCX and voila you have a cover / disguise for you scoot. In addition cut out some holes to gain access to the controls then you can ride with the cover in place. You can of cou...

Re: I get bored very quickly if I don't have someplace to go
I went for a ride couple of weeks ago when the heavens had opened and there was flash flooding every where. It made for a fun trip. Felt for the people who's homes and vehicles were damaged tho. I did go down a Dual carriageway and had to go through a large puddle that nearly flooded the engine tho ...

Re: Riding with a passenger
Jenny, Mel, i have found your experiences A lot of fun to read. My intro to riding is very dull in comparison i.e. My Wife stopped work to home ed the kids, couldn't afford to run a second car so bought a scooter. I would say I used it as more of an excuse to get a scooter than a necessity. When I t...

Seams underpowered compared to xmax 300. I'd prefer the xmax if riding on the motorway is needed. Prefer the styling of the forza. Are they indicators in the mirrors?

Re: Valve Clearance Check
When I checked the other week the inlet was on tight side and out of tolerance. I don't know whether that would translate to premature engine wear if left. Iwill be checking mine every 2500 miles. I guess the machined profile of the valve and the valve seat are ever so slightly diffent when new and ...

Re: PCX parts duration before change
Hey you got to give your pcx some love once in a while. Treat it to a sparkly new plug and some nice new coolant and Brake fluid etc and it will love you back. There are too many neglected scoots in this world. I know you will do the right thing.

Re: honda pcx 125 fron brake calipers issue!
To pump the brake lever and actuate the cbs effectively, bringing out the centre piston, I found it best to slacken off the rear drum adjuster. That way the lever travels further. Then when the piston protrudes, give it a good clean with some break cleaner and a tooth brush
