Re: Idle stop worries

I was curious why this was purposely left off the U.S. models???? Because the NHTSA is afraid of technology: NHTSA puts brakes on Honda's 'Idle Stop' transmission technology. BUSINESS WIRE — The federal government has temporarily put the brakes on American Honda Motor Co., Inc.'s next generation of...

If you ever changed oil on a car or motorcycle, this is much easier.

Here's how:

Me too! Yes, I think as the other that said: 1)The Motul 300v is one of the best oil; but not recommended for PCX at the start of the life. Plese take into considerations: a)Full synthetic oil used during breaking-in procedure will produce "glazing" on the surface of the cilinder, Usually...

Same problem with the PCX 150. It's speed limited to 67Mph. I tried going faster down a long hill and it wont do any better than that.

Re: Idle stop worries

It just occurred to me that maybe there's a need for instructions how to prepare a new motorcycle battery. Just make sure you have it properly sealed so the battery won't spill when placed on its side inside the vehicle. After adding water, seal it and wait an hour. Then charge it full and complete...

How-To: Remove rear wheel

NOTE: I do not yet have a service manual so I was not able to provide all the torque values. Check further down the page for those. Sorry. REMOVAL: 1) Start by borrowing your wife/girlfriend's cosmetic mirror and set it under the scooter. I had a motorcycle mirror handy so it had to do. Lie ...

Re: Feeling sorry for the PCX 125?

The USA scooter market is tiny (and currently in free-fall) by comparison to Europe. To give you some idea, when the PCX went on sale in France in 2010, 600 of them were sold in the first month and there was one dealer in Paris who was selling them at a rate of almost three a day . You hit the nail...

After parting Company with the PCX125 Scooters, my Wife and I bought PCX150s...WOW, what a difference...!!!...besides the extra Top Speed, the Best Gain from the 150s is Their ability to maintain speed, even on long mountain climbs and steep hills. Climbs that my PCX125 would get down to 40-45 mph ...

Re: Rear Axle nut - Torque spec?

A plug in the center of the tread isn't horrible, Well that's what I thought. My nail puncture was almost dead center of the tread, yet the dealer refused to patch it. Next time I might just learn how to unmount/mount a tire myself. And here I thought I would help the local economy by purchasing th...

I do however, doubt the abilities of my local cycle shop. I will be ordering online next time.
