Re: Wave retraction
Happened again. The PCX, viewed frontwise, has a silhouette with a sort of generic sports bike, crotch-rockety look, n'cest pas? So, whilst whipping along a busy highway at 55ish, we must have appeared at the crown of a hill quite suddenly to a true rocketeer going the other way, who at once extend...

Re: New PCX, CBT advice
Hi everyone, Just posted in the gallery section: Bringing her home on Saturday! http://hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1216 I wondered if anyone had any advice on riding a PCX for the first time, as I am rather nervous about my CBT (compulsory basic training, here in the UK). THANK YOU I found...

Re: New PCX150 purchase
For my first oil change between 500 and 600 miles, is it best to have that done at a dealership? Wondering now since this is now my primary work transportation and I will hit that in a couple weeks. You can certainly do the oil change yourself if you can follow this guide: http://www.hondapcx.org/v...

Re: Hello from Jville
When the bike was delivered, I asked the gentleman if he had any tips for me regarding the bike considering I haven't been riding in many years. He said wear a helmet and use ethanol free gas. Apparently, 99% of the gas pumps have 10% ethanol in the fuel. Should I be running ethanol free gas or hav...

I am glad that Honda is filling the midsize gap. Though the fact that I can go 60Mph with my fatass and almost get 100Mpg makes me think that I will be happy keeping my Pcx.
Hey Mel, its definately a single cylinder scoot.

I miss the signal indicator. My old elite has a chirp-chirp that lets you know that the turn signal was still engaged, while the silent indicator of the PCX has left me riding at times with the signal still on. Thanks! That's called the "Audible pilot" as explained here: http://launch.gro...

Come on Mel, it cost me almost $100 to have them export a seat. How much do you think it would cost to export a side car?

Thanks, I'm trying to explain the wife my rationale for needing 2 scooters in the garage ;) scootersite.JPG Just tell her that Honda Scooters are like fine wines. They only get better. Keep your old scoot or you will regret it! Here is my 1986 Elite 250: http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3083/272035300...

Well it wasn't a hassle at all for me. I use Google Chrome as my browser. It asked me to translate to English once and stayed in English during the entire transaction.
I don't typically ride 2 up. For what it's worth, the textured vinyl is less slippery than the stock seat vinyl.
