Re: Yet another windshield thread (aerodynamics related)
The weather has been decent here enough for me to ride the scooter (Monday through Thursday). This is the first time with the new Ermax +25 windscreen on there. My first impressions are that it definitely decreases the wind on my chest and shoulders, as well as my hands, to a degree. That being said...

Re: Bullying, bullied, bullies!? Poor new members in this fo
I am just wondering, why do some members have to start bullying new members almost in their first topic? Or why do some members have to write derogatory things against members they don`t know a shit about? These members distroy the pleasure for other members to stay in the forum. It is always easy ...

Re: Ermax +25 Windscreen
Looks good, especially with the tint. Is the sticker a Honda part. If so do you have the number? Thanks! Yes, the part number is 87120-KWN-900ZA, picture of it below. I purchased it from the following seller: http://www.partzilla.com/parts/detail/honda/HP-87120-KWN-900ZA.html http://i.imgur.com/jbA...

Re: Ermax +25 Windscreen
Due to the heatwave we've had here the past two days (it's a blistering 46 degrees Fahrenheit today), I decided to take the plunge and install the new windscreen. First I heated the trim up with a hair dryer (obviously from my picture, it is not mine, but my wife's ;) ), and then did 4 inch sections...

Re: Rubber feet for the stands
Closest thing I have seen to what you are talking about it a "non-sinking" stand, which is usually used when you are parking your bike on dirt/gravel. I'll be using one when I ride my scooter to hiking destinations. They're really for the side kickstand, not the center stand though. http:/...

Re: Ermax +25 Windscreen
congrats, you are going to love it. Thanks! i guess you could just install it next time it is warm enough to ride it. it is a very easy install but it is good to have a nice magnetic screwdriver for putting the screws in under the headlight. maddies walkthrough: http://www.hondapcx.org/viewtopic.ph...

Re: Ermax +25 Windscreen
Good fer ya! Thanks! NOW is the time to install it! Without a windshield I can’t ride below 50 F, but with a windscreen I’ve ridden in 24 F weather. There hasn’t been occasion to ride colder than that so far, but I would if the time is right. By the time the weather warms, you won’t need it anymore...

Re: Ermax +25 Windscreen
My Ermax +25 windscreen arrived yesterday, went to the post office and picked it up today! :) Besides the windscreen itself and the trim (the little bag to the right of the screen), they also threw in two freebies. A nice leather satchel and a reflective cover (called Aeromax Screen) to protect the ...

Re: Ermax +25 Windscreen
Good news! I checked my email this morning and found a message from same-same, stating my item was shipped and giving me the tracking number. I checked the tracking number out, and sure enough, my order is with some French shipping company, on it's way to me. :) As soon as I get it, will post with p...

Re: Ermax +25 Windscreen
Hey Taz, I know you purchased your Ermax screen from same-same, and was wondering if you had a good experience with them? I ask because I ordered my screen on 12/24/12, and it still has not shipped. I sent them an email on 12/30/12 asking when they would ship, and I received an email back stating it...

Re: auto pop up seat conversion kit
The only reason I thought it was a nifty idea is that we have high winds here in Idaho on a regular basis. I can't tell you how many times I was trying to get things out of the under seat storage and a nice gust of winds blows the seat back on me. It really doesn't rain a lot here, so water getting ...

Re: powerbypcx seats?
I'm using the AirHawk2, medium cruiser. This size fits the PCX seat very well. I paid 84USD via Amazon to have it shipped to Florida and then shipped to Thailand with a periodic shipment I get every couple of months with essentials I can't get here in Thailand. In the longrun, it cost me about 100U...

Re: Video cameras for riding
Just checked for the mirror, they are pretty pricey! $69 US for the mirror, plus another $16 for the shipping. Thought I might be able to find a U.S. dealer, but no luck. What I did find was something that was pretty interesting, and a much cheaper alternative, albeit somewhat permanent solution. ht...

Re: Video cameras for riding
Here is my 808 #18 keychain cam I just attached to the bike, around $30 on eBay. I tried it on the handlebar first but all you could see was my big ermax screen. So now its on the port mirror! http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8078/8348694134_ef16f1950b_z.jpg Where did you obtain that center mirror? Wo...

Re: auto pop up seat conversion kit
Received an email reply about the seat kit. Cost of it is $50 US dollars, if you order over 3 of them, you can get a 10% discount. Shipping from Korea to US is $30 for one kit, for 3 kits it is $50.
I like the kit, but that's kinda steep for what amounts to a spring loaded hinge.

The scooter can always be fixed, fortunately you made it out ok.
