Re: Ignition barrel
WD40 and any grease/oil/alcohol is not a good solution for any kind of locks on a long run. The best is graphite powder. If not available, you can even scratch a tip of a soft pencil and just blow some into the lock. It works for me every time. I've never had to use it on an ignition lock, but have ...

Thanks for your replies. It's at least a bit reassuring that I am not doing something wrong to eat my pads too early.

Front brake pads gone after 10'500 km
I had to change my front brake pads after 10'500 km. They were totally worn out. Is it normal? I don't ride sporty and I don't brake hard.
This is my first maxi-scooter and I expected brake pads to last at least until my 18'000 km service. What's your experience?

Re: How Cold Will You Go?
Don't decide based on temperature, I decide based on road conditions. In winter during freezing conditions, if the roads are dry and there is no precipitation imminent, so no ice risk, I will ride no matter what the temperature is. I do the same. My commute is 12 km each direction. I have my Termos...

Re: Forza 125 performance mods
I can imagine that the performance potential is limited on this engine as it is already producing 15hp form a 125cc engine. And perhaps the target group for this scooter (I suspect adult commuters in major european cities) is not typically interested in a tuned screamer, making the market for perfo...

Re: Hello from the new guy
Actually I am no new guy but as of recent the owner of 2017 NSS125 and 2018 PCX. I love PCX but it will make someone happy soon, I hope. Last weekend I got my Forza with 3000 km in mint shape from the first owner. Since I got original PCX top box, it will perfectly fit Forza too. Just ordered shad ...

The right size rain cover - finally
I always ride with my windshield fully extended and with a top-box on. I leave home for work early, at 6:30 a.m. and even in the summer there can be quite some dew on my scoot so I cover it every day. Neither of the covers I had so far were large enough to cover my Forza as is. Now, finally, I've go...

Re: Side stand or center stand when you park your bike?
To park: Side stand to get off the bike. This also kills the engine and disables idling stop. Then always center stand with side stand still in open position. To go: Take the bike off the center stand and lean it on side stand to get on the bike. This is particularly helpful when Termoscud is instal...

X-ADV 750 in addition to, not instead of Forza 125
Should my wife manage to finally sell that inherited land or should I hit a Bingo I would get myself a Honda X-adv for fun rides https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usYvFOYGja8 . I already enjoy a DCT transmission on my car and I guess it must be lotsa fun on that bike too. It would also be so great to ...

Re: Maximum Load Forza 125 vs Forza 300
In addition, there appear to be a few minor differences in length, width and height and also wheelbase. Yes, I've noticed that. But the bottom line is: Forza 300 = 20km/h faster top speed, less max load, higher consumption, no idling/stop... I guess I'll stick with my darling Forza 125. As for the ...

Re: GPS Mount for new Forza 300??
I've only done it on the left one. It's easy to find out. All you need is a regular screwdriver. If it's left, it's left. If it's right, it's right. It's simple as that.davenowherejones wrote:Are both plastic inserts the same? Or one is a reverse thread?

Maximum Load Forza 125 vs Forza 300
I came across an interesting information. Comparing Forza 125 to Forza 300 I found out that 300 has a lower maximum load. That leads me to conclusion that 125 and 300 use exactly the same chassis and the higher engine weight of 300 simply reduces the max load.
