Re: New Guy
If you REALLY want it to be easy, borrow someone's PCX to do the test on.
Just who will borrow-lend you one?
Used to call them 'OP's'--Other people.

Re: Reworking plastic seat tray?
thanks, Nadman. I was looking for the other pic you shared, the one without the aluminum strips on it. I can't find it now. I asked my neighbor to cut the hump out for me. He has lots of tools. I said I'd give him $20 if he'd do it for me. I wanted to see your hole again. You know, the hole in your...

Here's a pic of the National Cycle N50002
Wish it was 1-2 inches taller. Nice easy fit.

Re: Reworking plastic seat tray?
Even with doing some of the 'dirty work' myself it still took a Pro 2-3 hrs. to come up with my finished
and extremely comfortable seat.
You say "$200 bucks"???
I say "Priceless."
I don't know them but try: http://www.andrewsupholsteryidaho.com/

Re: My first Giulia !
I loved the bike anyway, and in 1980 I found another one stored in someone's old garage and I bought it. It started right up after changing the oil, spark plug, and battery. This time I looked for the electrical weak spots and fixed them. I used it throughout my college years and sold it when I gra...

Don't forget, the signal lights will have to conform to NA laws and will probably be an Ugly after thought (again).

Re: Anti thief recommendations
My solution is to live in Canada. I lost this Sh150i to some thieves last summer. They smashed and hot wired it but the idiots busted the ign switch and didn't find the cable to lift the seat to refuel. So they drove it till it ran out of gas and dumped in a parking lot. Insurance Co wrote it off. ...

And these are available in quite a few sizes.
Go a full size up and install it straight.
My friend puts some grease inside the drain hole and on the plug
and then wipes it out with a small angled pick after.

Or you could try this. I've seen it work very well. Doesn't really matter what the finished size is-SAE or metric.

Re: cheeky seats
I've had mine on since I got the scoot last summer. It took a week or so for the wrinkles to come out. I love the cover, but find that I can still feel the "hump" mounts. It's not bad, and it actually gives me a reference point on how far back to sit, but it's definitely there. I'm toying...

Re: Hello from Thailand
idea behind the extenders is that you move the bottom mounting point of the shock absorber rearwards by about 60mm which for the same length shock reduces ride height and increases the trail of the rear suspension and very much improves the ride quality. Could you do this to a PCX? Would you do thi...

Re: Pcx hybrid
Ivy, I think the battery weight would be minimal for such a light vehicle. My replacement li-ion battery weighs almost nothing, but it's not a massive series of cells. Plus the electric version has two modest sized pull out and take with you cells. That would be like carrying a jerry can. Plus you ...

Re: National Cycle windshield
I just installed the National Cycle 'tall' windshield but only have a couple of miles on it. I'm 5'11" and while riding I see over it to about 25 ft in front of me. Has the 'curls' on each side and there quite a bit of room for airflow at the bottom front. Will give another evaluation when Dr. ...

The seat is all done. I wish I would have measured before this project was
started but I now have about 31 in. from center of steering post to 'bump'.
