Re: After 1st service, a little rough going
Probably not -- but a concern might be some bottom of the tank crud getting to the injector. More likely funky gas ...but could the ECU need to be rebooted after trying to deal with an engine dieing of fuel starvation? Kymcos have a reset procedure. ...does the PCX? Or disconnect battery for 10 min...

Re: After 1st service, a little rough going
You know, that thought occurred to me right after I posted. Still doesn't explain why I was completely out of gas before the indicator warning even came on.Jge64 wrote:Roadside assist put in lousy gas?

After 1st service, a little rough going
So I had my first service done on my 2018 PCX over 2 weeks ago. Everything had been fine until I ran out of gas last week. For the record, in my 35 years of driving cars and two-wheelers, I have NEVER run out of gas! On my PCX, I will get gas the second I see the last segment on the fuel gauge start...

Re: Minor damage while being serviced
My brand new '14 PCX (led) was covered in oily fingerprints and had some paint chipped of the front fender (high) when I collected the bike (HGB Honda dealer, Ruislip London). The marks came off but the chipped paint is still there - I never mentioned it as I needed the bike. You did good getting t...

Re: Minor damage while being serviced
Just missed a call from the owner of the dealership. Calling him back now. I’ll let you guys know what happens. Thanks for all the support. Appreciate it! Hope it's what you wanted to hear! :D So, I didn't have to speak with the owner directly. I was told that the service manager was going to take ...

Re: Minor damage while being serviced
You Have a Right to be Angry. You Deserve a New Panel - ASAP, Their Treat. Total Carelessness! Could be any one of the reasons that members mentioned. I see more marks than the 2 you circled. Such a shame. This was your 1st service. Unlikely, but Do you know If the valves were checked? Appears the ...

Re: Minor damage while being serviced
Thanks, Jge64. Will do. I have met the owner before and he was a very personable, hands-on guy from my first impression.Jge64 wrote:Whatever you do go see the owner in person, don’t do it via email , phone or meet with any lesser person in the dealership.

Minor damage while being serviced
I brought my 2018 PCX into the dealer for its first service last Friday. All was well until I noticed 2 small gouges in the plastic in the area on the left of my seat tail. Looks minor in the photos but immediately noticeable. My PCX is under a year old and in pristine condition. What can I say? I t...

Re: How to take the dog along?
If that isn't love then what is it?! They love you enough to be comfortable with you and wait for your next move. They really don't ask for much.... Just to be near you, and get a kind word and a pat on the head occasionally. My cat always greets me with a "Hello". . .and sometimes a &quo...

Re: How to take the dog along?
No matter how many times we go through it never gets easier. In fact, I don't think we have a limit on how much love we can give our pets. They become members of our little family, hopefully for life, and they give back more than we can ever hope to give them. After we come home from a bad day, all...

Re: How to take the dog along?
Brando, Hopefully the memories of the good times with them will help us to cope better with their loss. Time does heal the hurt, but everyone has a different point when they feel that they can move on without them. Each time we have lost a pet it has hurt deeply, but in time we have learned to acce...

Re: How to take the dog along?
Well, my dog won't be riding with me any more. He died this morning. I have never before had a dog that was mine totally. If he didn't feel good, he went to me, not my wife. He slept right up against me every night. Then he got old and sick. Then he went to the big doggie playground in the sky. So ...

Very nice! Wonder if we'll see this model in the US anytime soon. Is there any difference in weight from the previous model?

Re: Hello from a new PCX owner
Not a fan of red generally but absolutely love your color scheme. Just got a new 2019 model and the color is silver/grey (they have some fancy name for it) which I like fine but yours, oh my, jealous ! You have the "Metallic Bronze" then? How do you like the color? I could have waited for...

Re: Mod my horn for easier reach
Brando, I don't think there is enough current going through the original wires, PLUS I am not certain that the little original wires can handle more current. Many horn manufacturers are assuming that you are installing their devices in a car, which has much thicker wires than a scooter. I know that...

Re: Hello from a new PCX owner
Hi everyone! I recently purchased a mint 2016 Dark Candy PCX with 437 miles. Reading the posts on this forum helped me to make the decision to buy the PCX over the Kymco and Yamaha competitors, so thank you! I’ve been riding motorcycles for 20 years, but this is my first scooter. I’ve only put abou...

Re: Mod my horn for easier reach
Brando, That horn that you are interested is a mini air horn. As such, it will require a relay to operate it because the current going to your factory installed horn is not enough to activate that horn. As far as it fitting on your bike, there is plenty of room behind the front panels, but it would...
