Re: Today
By any chance, have you swatted a bee lately? Nope, lots of flies though, I think they have an alliance... Bought a near new 2013 pcx, now teaching my daughter to ride. Fun times. Nice picture and I imagine that must be awesome - stay safe out there! And not really off-topic, but today I took the e...
Re: Today
My today yesterday: Driving with the pcx fully battle dressed (it is compulsory here to have every part of your body covered when driving with anything larger then 50cc - which is a good thing - safety first!) in 38°C (that is ~100°F). I got home weighing probably around 0.5kg less with sweaty glove...

Re: 2019 PCX 150 performance
To add to what was said earlier on wind resistance: I have a 2016 PCX, 125cc and I am quite tall (1.86m) even though I am a featherweight (72kg). With everything stock on the pcx i never had the rev limiter kick in (fastest on speedometer was 98kmh). Then I decided I was tired of getting all the win...

Re: 2019 PCX 150 performance
Anyway, do you folks believe the 2019 will realistically cruise at speeds in the neighborhood of 140-145 kph. If so, my 2017 may be in need of a new owner.......What do you think??? At a speed of 150 km/h, the wind resistance is 3 times greater than at a speed of 80 km/h, so I doubt these figures i...

Re: Help the forum! Donate today!
Just donated as well - this site was actually one of the reasons I decided to go for a PCX. After looking into the specs of the PCX, reading the experiences of other users and seeing how much knowledge was available here I went out and got one. One year later and have had no regrets on it whatsoever...

Re: bunny collision - broken body panels
As said earlier I opted for a repair using this fiberglass polyester kit from Motip. Tools needed: * a pair of gloves (or make that three pair of gloves as they get sticky and fiberglass is Itchy&Scratchy) * paint brush * cutter knife and scissors * last but not least: a well ventilated area :lo...

Re: bunny collision - broken body panels
Glad it's only plastic you have to worry about. Rabbits can get rather chunky depending upon where you live. It's too bad he decided to hop into your path but these things happen. You were fortunate that you escaped without injury to ride another day. ;) I consider myself indeed quite lucky - it co...

Re: bunny collision - broken body panels
Yep, I also saw this site passing by as I now got the correct part number. Still, I am amazed by the large price differences for the same piece but simply a different color. Granted the version on partzilla was for a 2015 version while mine is a 2016 version (although I reckon the shape will be the ...

Re: bunny collision - broken body panels
Thanks Oya for the suggestion. I just checked the color code of my pcx, it is NH-A16P which is Pearl Cool White. I don't know if there is a huge difference between Pearl Jasmine White but probably there will be a visible difference, especially completely in the front where the two types of white 'me...

bunny collision - broken body panels
Hello, I have been lurking on this forum for quite awhile (even though I just registered now). I have found lots of great tips and the forum has been very usefull already (many thanks to all the people here). Yesterday evening while driving at ~100km/h a bunny decided to cross my path - I didn't eve...
