Re: Front suspension upgrade
I’m not exactly sure, but about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Yes, you might have a problem if you ordered about the same time. They did send me an email stating it could be a little longer than usual because of the Covid19 thing.

So how do you like your forks now?Gil wrote:Good news, I ordered the YSS kit for the 2019 model with the cir-clip and it should work. I just took apart the front forks and everything matches up.

Re: Front suspension upgrade
Based on TomTom posting the different weight springs I would say that the 46-10-15-200 is the way to go. That would be the next step down from where I'm at and should be close to perfect. Well thanks to this thread, I just ordered a set from Brooks Barn thanks to TomTom. About $50 US. I went with th...

Re: 2019 PCX 150 - Top Speed - Huh?
So far I did the Ncy variator and face and no difference. Just tried doing 13grm rollers and lost 1-2 mph. Guess I'm gonna try heavier ones than the stock 16.5 grm Wow, I'm surprised it's worse now. I have a U.S. 2018 that I bought with 750 miles on it two years ago. The HARD rev limiter hit at 63 ...

Re: Front suspension upgrade
Well thank you for following up on this some more. Curious as to what you think about your new springs. I’d love to hear about it because mine are still a little too stiff for my liking.tomtomclub2005 wrote:PS: Thanks MacDaddy for sharing the info on the springs!

Re: PCX150 Taller Windscreen
I know it's past time now, but I'll throw in my 2 cents for future considerations. I bought my used 2018 in the summer of 2018 from a guy with medical problems who was making this his last chance to keep riding. Obviously that didn't work out for him unfortunately. Anyhow, he already had the NC tall...

Re: Variator rollers - a right and wrong way to fit, appare
Thanks, I'm pretty new to scooters and only knew to turn all the rollers the same direction, not which direction. I recently put on a NCY variator and it's a little nosier than stock so I'll have to take it apart and have a look. P.S. I really like the variator.

That's the way I understand it too springer1. If I find a torque in the manual that's my first choice but otherwise bolt size would be correct. Having said that, for common fasteners I just use my semi-calibrated hands. LOL.

Re: Front suspension upgrade
An update on my YSS XL shocks. I thought I'd share a recent experience since several members have the same shocks. And like many others mentioned, I too thought the ride was stiffer than necessary. I found YSSUSA online and sent an email asking if they had a lighter spring for my XL's? Klaus and I e...

125 Exhaust on a 150?
It seems like most everything I've read so far say that the parts between the 125's and 150's are interchangeable. That said, is there any problem bolting a 125 exhaust up to the 150 motor? Seems like it shouldn't work right but perhaps the exhaust port on the motor is the same size between the two?

What a great post Brice! Some of us have been riding for most of a longish life and it's nice to be reminded of what it was like when we started. I really enjoy the being connected thing too that comes from riding instead of driving. Enjoy your ride sir.

Don't forget about the Ethanol in our gas. I usually guesstimate about a 10% loss in mileage due to it.

Re: Front suspension upgrade
Yes, I LOVE the front now. Cringe worthy roads are now only slightly annoying! My YSS rears are over sprung but I will live with it for the times i ride two up. Next front fluid change I will dial the PDC valves from 1.5 to 2 turns.[/quote] I'd picked up a slightly used 2018 PCX 150 in late summer. ...
