Help with variator slides?
I have a '17 PCX150 with 11K miles. I am replacing the rollers with 13.5g Malossi's, replacing the slides and also the driven face spring also with a Malossi. The original belt measure within .1-.2mm of new specs so I will not replace it. My question related to the slides. From Scooterpartsco.com I ...

Re: Clutch Chatter No More ??
Having read all the posts, I tried to locate a source for the 22535-KVB-900 clutch weight set. Revzilla told me it would not fit my 2017 and had no further help. The chatter on my PCX just about shakes it apart til it warms up. I have deglazed the clutch pads, cleaned surfaces, belt, etc with only s...

Re: Belt chatter?
I did not take the bell off but I dispensed almost a whole can of BrakeKleen thro all the bell openings.
I scuffed both sides of the belt with light sandpaper soaked in BrakeKleen, used a rag soaked in BK to clean both pulley surfaces.

Belt chatter?
I have 6300 mi on my 2017 PCX. 300 mi ago I scuffed the belt and pulleys and sprayed heavily with BrakeKleen to eliminate the belt stutter when accelerating from a stop. The belt looked fine. It worked for a few hundred miles and is starting again. Perhaps I should have done something different? Adv...

Re: Tire choice?
Bought a pair of MCG’s from Revzilla for $107.52....best price I could find.
In my experience, these smaller wheels/tires don’t require balancing but this is my first PCX. But what is the wisdom of the list?

Tire choice?
On my other scooters the Michelin City Grip seemed to be the tire of choice. What is the tire of choice for the PCX?
And what is the best source?
Thanks

Advice on replacement shocks?
My 2017 PCX150 has 3400 mi and the OEM shocks are now too soft. What is the 'wisdom of list' for reasonably- priced, daily commuter replacements for front and rear?
Advice is appreciated.

Re: Givi D1130ST issues
That is a good idea and if I carefully cut/trim the plexi braces, it might look OK as well.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Givi D1130ST issues
I have checked/rechecked. Nothing is loose. The screen will not move when stationary. It flexes when on the move above 35mph.
Sounds like I am the only one...

Re: Givi D1130ST issues
I bought the screen from Revzilla so I assume it is authentic. I think it is impossible to install it incorrectly so that can’t be my problem.
Mine does not remain stiff. I have ridden a PCX with a tall National City screen which remains rigid in any wind and at any speed.
ANY ideas....?

Givi D1130ST issues
I have a Givi D1130ST mounted on my '17 PCX150. It flexes so, much even at slower speeds, that it is almost as worthless as the factory screen. Givi has no suggestions and says no one has ever complained. I am about ready to give up and buy another brand. Anyone else had this experience or have any ...

Re: Givi windscreen question
Thanks for the reply. At speeds under 45mph the tall Givi works will. The cockpit air is quiet and flows above and around me. But at 45mph and above the pressure causes the screen to lean toward me allowing more air to reach me making it very turbulent. I wonder if the extra weight of the device you...

Re: Givi windscreen question. MORE advice needed!
Have ridden with the tallest Givi for about 100 miles now. I am 5’11” and in traffic turbulence over 45mph it flexes considerably. At higher speeds the turbulence is such that it will take off my cap (if I am not wearing a helmet) and has emptied my shirt pocket twice. It feels almost like the short...

Givi windscreen question
Just installed the larger Givi screen. A warning sticker said to clean only with water. Is that actually necessary? I have always used a spray wax to soften bugs, clean and polish.
Thanks

Re: Headlight modulator.
My problem is solved...added a pair of switched, small LED lights mounted under the cowl, wired thro a Kisan headlight modulator. Sadly discovered no one makes a modulator for an ac electrical system. Works well... thanks for ALL the advice!

Re: Headlight modulator.
To Mel46..I talked to a tech...if will provide a fixed strobe cycle if I cut my blue high beam wire and splice it in. It will strobe whenever whenever high beam is on...day or night so it eliminates the high use at night for obvious reasons. I like the one alternative you suggested that allows me to...

Re: Headlight modulator.
Not the superbrightled module....it’s just a fulltime strobe module. I cannot find a headlght modulator with photosensor that will work on the 2017 headlight system.

Re: Headlight modulator.
Great idea...THANKS...that superbrightled module will work....the only problem will be the bright headlight setting will always modulate...even at night...so is essence, you will have lost the use of your high beam. In my opinion, that is a reasonable price to pay for daytime riding safety. Many tha...
