Re: Hello Newbies! We're Glad You Found Us!
Hello to all. My name is Warren, and I live in Tucson, Arizona, USA. Not a newbie, but back to the forum after years away. (What an incredible resource!) Bought my PCX 125A in 2011, and commuted & explored on it until it hit 50k miles. Bought a 2015 Forza for a little more long-distance muscle. ...

Re: AzRocketPCX
It's been a few years since I posted. Still have the 2011 PCX, going strong @ 51,000+ miles. When it hit 50k I decided it was time for a little more power. I rode a friends Forza and was sold! I've put 35,000+ miles on my 2015.

Re: AzRocketPCX
After just over 4 years of riding the PCX turned over 40k miles this week. What a great bike Honda put together!

Re: AzRocketPCX
Today was the 27th Fall Classic scooter rally here in Tucson. My 4th time riding it. It started with a kick-off party last night at the Hotel Congress downtown, with a local surf-rock band,The Furies, setting the tempo. This morning about 30 of us (mix of vintage & modern scoots) made the 80 mil...

Forza 125
Honda is at it again! They've just previewed their new Forza 125. 14hp, 123mpg, disc brakes front & back, with all LED lighting. No word if its coming to the US but I'll be first in line at my Honda dealership if they do.

Re: AzRocketPCX
White Noise, We're lucky to live in a pretty part of Arizona. Most people think Arizona is all empty desert & cactus (which we have plenty of) but Tucson sits in a valley surrounded by 4 mountain ranges, so we have lots of diversity. Next month is the 27th Fall Classic scooter rally here in town...

Re: AzRocketPCX
The Rocket is still going strong @ 37k miles. No real maintenance issues to note. For my 4th set of tires I'm trying out the Pirelli Diablos. Great in the curves, looks like wear is acceptable, but I got 13k miles out of a set of City Grips and will probably go back to them for the next pair. Accele...

Re: Today's Quick Pic
Nice ride today down to Madera Canyon. The monsoon rains have turned the desert green, and temps were in the low 80's on the ride there. Had to stop first on "A Mountain" overlooking Tucson for a photo op.
White Noise: That 2015 is a sharp looking update to the PCX styling!

Re: Today's Quick Pic
The monsoons have rolled into our valley, so the riding couldn't be better. The club I ride with (Sky Island Riders) had our "Ride of the Month" south of town to visit an old Spanish Mission along the Santa Cruz river. Photo op was at the cow skull near the turn-off to Arivaca Road.

Re: Today's Quick Pic
We took the Rocket (the PCX) and Scarlet (the Forza) out for a ride on the west side of town last weekend. This shot is at the parking lot of the Old Tucson movie studios, where dozens of westerns during the 50's, 60's & 70's were filmed. It's surrounded by miles of winding, hilly roads.

Re: AzRocketPCX
Ben, the windscreen is from Magical Racing (bought thru the Webike site). They offer them in three finishes: gloss black FRP, plain CF & Gloss Twill CF. The front fender, seat cowl, and rear fender delete kit is from MR also. A little pricey (especially with shipping costs) but great quality &am...

Re: AzRocketPCX
Our trip "Into the Trees" of Arizona's White mountains went great. We left Tucson on Friday morning June6, riding thru the Salt River Canyon to White River and on to our rented cabin in Pinetop. There were two PCX's (my 125 and Craig's 150) plus a Forza and a modern Vespa 300. On Saturday ...

Thanks WhiteNoise! We've got another month before we expect the rain MichRocks, but we can always hope for sooner. Luckily you can normally see them coming, and can wait out the downpour. A group of us are heading up to Pinetop/Lakeside on our scooters during the first weekend of June to get out of ...

Re: AzRocketPCX
The Rocket turned over 32k miles last month. What a great bike! No major service issues to date. I did put on a new front rotor @ 30k due to wear, but I can't complain. The 2015 model refresh looks great, but I'm still not in the market for a new bike. A friend recently started riding a Forza, and i...

Re: AzRocketPCX
Nice hearing from you ASU (Steve)! Glad you found the site. I'm loving the PCX also. Use it every chance I get. Home is 5 miles from the base of Mt.Lemmon, so I ride to the top at least once a month. 6000'+ in elevation change over 25 winding miles, w/ 30degree drop in temp: what's not to like? In t...

Re: AzRocketPCX
The Rocket in San Diego during Amervespa2013. Over 400 miles of beautiful costal hill riding. Out of 500+ scooters there, there were only 2 PCX's. That place is a scooter heaven. Shout out to the SD Pharoahs SC, you guys know how to run a ride. Coming up on 25k miles. Posts about belt change interva...

Re: AzRocketPCX
Newest add to the RocketPCX. I have since found a flip-top stopper for the bottle that eliminates the screw-top fumbling at stoplights. Answers to older post: Calinaz (fellow rider here in Tucson on a red 150) has done a great rear fender delete on the cheap. And added two front wheel mounted LED ru...

Re: AzRocketPCX
These are photos of my latest mod. Removing the passenger pegs. I have a cowl over the rear seat, so I'm never riding 2up. The pegs have 2 bolts attaching them to the frame, and one light-duty attachment to the footboard plastic. I cut through the body panels with a Dremel wheel. I still need to fin...

Re: New Member in Arizona
That was my scoot you saw at the Great Southwest Scooter Fiesta in Gilbert two weekends ago. Glad to hear you're liking the PCX. I rode up from Tucson that morning, and back after the afternoon ride to Sahuaro Lake. A 300 mile day! The sun setting over the ranches in Coolidge was beautiful. You can ...
