Re: PCX clutch wouldn't disengage
Thanks......so far,so good.............Found that I had more leverage ,working on the ground with the spring install......[not having a tool for the job] Believe you will notice a difference with that new spring [performance increase] Mine is more responsive, especially transitioning to hills. [gear...

Re: PCX clutch wouldn't disengage
Yes........not looking forward to doing the contra spring on the Forza. It was a job separating the two "driven" faces enough to load the new belt....[Forza].... with enough slack to install on the variator/boss. Rode the PCX with those bearings complaining for a long time [55,000mi] Didn'...

Re: PCX clutch wouldn't disengage
OK,maybe too soon to chirp about it .......Replaced the contra spring and did a few other items while in there. New Drive face and movable, boss and slides. Didn't bother with rollers since they were in good order....replaced the belt early since it would have been due in 2000 miles. Have mentioned ...

PCX clutch wouldn't disengage
Not more than a mile from home, slowed for a traffic signal and the clutch stayed engaged. It shuddered for a few seconds and finally disengaged. Continued riding and all seemed normal. Have put a few hundred miles on the PCX since..... with no further incident. Thinking maybe the contra spring is g...

Keep in mind, my riding is mostly for pleasure on lightly traveled country roads. Usually coast allot...... anticipating stops.

The VIN # is under the seat. Remove document compartment then remove clips to remove tool box. VIN is under there.

Re: Buying decisions - I miss my Forza
Dave makes a good point. I bought my 2014 in 2018 with only 1300 miles on it. Had to get the new fuel pump [free recall] The other recalls showed having been done. Think you can research with the VIN # to find out what has and hasn't been done. [recalls] A good [long] test ride should help......defi...

Re: HELP! Coolant Drain Plug snapped off inside the hole
Guessing that o-ring normally keeps it sealed. Evidently there is corrosion on the inside of the plug holding the coolant back?? If you do what you mentioned........fill the system and run the scooter............probably a few test runs "local" would give you a chance to test it. If it hol...

Re: How big a top box do you like?
That may be the sweet spot [33] especially if you plan to keep it on all or most of the time. Most of my riding is w/o the box.
Think mine is about 35 liter [Kappa]...... and it holds plenty.

Re: Brake Pads (aftermkt)
Noticed that Honda wants near $50.00 for those pads. Haven't gotten around to changing mine yet............almost 31k on the Forza. Thanks for the heads up. Wonder if they picked up some grease..........or something.............[since they have been quiet for 6 months]........ Maybe a good cleaning,...
