Re: Buzz from ABS
A small world indeed , think the shopping centre is called Westfield, My daughter just lives near the bus station in North lakes , she’s been there nearly 2 years now . Been in the Tavern a few times for a scunner of ale while I was there . Thought Chermside might have been closer for you to do your...

Re: Buzz from ABS
The nearest Honda dealer is Tilstons , Stockton on Tees. Think it’s about 17 ml away . That’s where I did a part ex on my 2011 pcx for a Forza a few year back , not a bad dealer . Don’t really want to go down the road of as I have said , taking panels off when no one else seems to have an issue with...

Re: Buzz from ABS
Got my scooter from Hunts in Manchester , but because I live in Durham which is about 150 mile away , I never thought there was much point . I have mentioned the problem to my local dealer who I will be getting my service off Yamaha / Suzuki dealer , but like I have said , if no one has come up with...

Re: Buzz from ABS
My thinking is over a matter of time and the amount of pcx on the road at the moment more owners will get a bit annoyed with this buzz . Pulled away from a supermarket car park the other day and got a filthy look from some guy , sure he thought I nicked it because of the buzz sounded like some alarm...

Buzz from ABS
I know this topic has been brought up on the forum in 2018 , and I have read all the posts . Had my pcx 6 month now and the buzz noise from what I read is the ABS self test is still happening. The thing I want to know is has anyone had this fault fixed in anyway . My scooter is due for its 600 ml se...

Re: Engine cut out !!
Thanks for the reply . So when you go down a long hill should you brake but try to rev at the same time ?
Never known this to happen , had a few scooters, but this seems strange to just cut out , then you seem to jump start it when you put the revs on . Idles fine at a stand still

Engine cut out !!
Out on my scooter this morning when the traffic came to a stop . I was at the top of a small hill so I could see the cars where stopped to let a Hurst come out of a church . When the cars started moving , as I was at the top of the hill I could only let my scooter free wheel . Only went about 200 ya...

Re: Where do you park your ride ?
Got to laugh , I had one of those head scratching moments yesterday . Took my pcx out and parked at my local retail park , because there was no place to chain up to went to use my disc lock " total fail " . No one told me they have modified the disc , I had a 2011 model and a 10mm locking ...

Re: Helmet colors?
Eiron , The helmet I have at the moment is made by Shox , the drop down visor is good when its warm but does tend to fog in cooler weather but I crack the main visor and use anti fog spray . I think Duchinni do the drop down visor as well , I've had a couple of them over the years .Not sure if they ...

Re: Back on the road again !!
Well , done about 50 mile on the pcx , first impressions are pretty good .The ride is a vast improvement on my 2011 one I had , goes over the bumps very well , seat is a lot better without the " hump " , plus you don't slide about on it , old seat was very slippy . Dash is easy to read , l...

Re: Helmet colors?
Don't want to sound thick , but is a Transition visor one that goes dark when the sunlight hits it , as you would see in spectical s . Never seen one before but they sound good . My Helmet has a drop down internal tinted visor , Makes you look like an F16 fighter pilot .

Re: Where do you park your ride ?
Some of your replies seem quiet cynical , Tying to have a discussion on Motorcycle / Scooter security which is very relevant at the moment in certain parts of the UK .Have a read of Bennett's web page on using. Disc locks , chains etc . Might make you change your mind . Don't think we have Bottomed ...

Re: Where do you park your ride ?
Wow , that's taking security to a hole new level . Thought I was bad with a disc lock & chain . Think that post might shock a few of our oversea friends , the lengths you have to go to to keep your scooter safe " unbelievable "

Re: Where do you park your ride ?
You got that right , keep an eye on it mate . Good job your neighbour is on the ball . Where do you park it when you commute , have you got secure parking for your scooter . Is. London doing anything to stop bike/scooter crime .
